Guy behind the counter was very helpful and saved me from buying a lot of unnecessary parts to fix my washer draining issue.
My boyfriend had to take my rider lawnmower to this store three different times over three months in order to fix a belt from the front of the lawnmower;my boyfriend paid an extra $200 - on top of what he had paid after the first time that he brought the rider in - and a few days ago,he tried to use the thing,and it only worked for 5 minutes!
People were incredibly kind and helpful, even when I didn't really know what I was doing. They set me up for success.
Their small engine repair business is the worst I've ever dealt with. Had my mower picked up for $60 round trip and $30 diagnostic fee. Was told it would be looked at either the next day or day after. 3 weeks later I get a phone call expecting to hear about my mower being done and they tell me they haven't even looked at it since they didn't fill out the paper work when I walked them through the problems. They did turn the mower around a week later. However they never even tried the PTO and the blades won't turn on. They wanted another $90 for the delivery and to pick it up when it never was fixed in the first place. They tried to help by looking at it in my driveway, but said it was over $300 for a part. Wasn't even what was wrong with the mower. Plenty of small engine repair people to use besides urbandale hardware. While you are at it save yourself the trip for all other tooling and just stop at family farm and home across the street. Additional information since the owner replied. As I stated PTO was fine, he misdiagnosed it and blew me off when I suggested it was anything else since we could hear the clutch engaging and it was instantly losing power. It was a failed safety switch. Any other shop would have offered to wave the second delivery fee and diagnostic fee since it still was still not running right, but making sure I knew they would charge me again for that was their number one priority after sitting on my mower for a month.
I needed work done on my snowblower set up an appointment, no call no show. Set up another appointment...once again no call no show.
Stopped in to get some Scissors to chop up some branches today. Was happy to find a nice local shop near the project house. Friendly people in the store and have I mentioned they’re right up the street! Will definitely be back to take advantage of some of the services offered.
Will never step foot or do business here ever again. On June 2nd took a weed whacker in to have the head replaced. After 5 months of them not working on it, went to pick it up yesterday Nov. 9th to have it serviced elsewhere. It was taken apart and they have misplaced the other parts. Absolutely the worst service in town.
Good place to shop. These folks are very helpful.
They repaired both my snow blowers in one day
