So many gems here! Very clean and organized in general. I love how all the distinct sections are noted and it is easy to move around, despite not being a large space. Prices average. Hope I have time to stay longer and explore the sweet main street type block it is on next time!
Seems like everytime I go the staff are not so friendly. I am not sure why maybe its just me. I put a 2 star for that and the pricing mainly because a lot of times I will find something new in box cheaper then something used of the same category. For example I came across a digital photo fame brand new sealed was cheaper then the one next to it that was clearly scratched and used.
Items are way overpriced, this is supposed to be a Thrift store. The prices used to be good, but it seems they look the items up on eBay before putting them on the shelves. I constantly see the same items on the shelf, which means others must feel the same way. I went in the other day to see a Wii priced at $110, I was able to get the same console and game for much less on eBay. I always looked forward to shopping here, but I will now shop elsewhere. It’s sad that they forgot they are a thrift store, and not Target.
I saw this store one day back in December. As my mom and I were driving home from Southampton, we decided to stop and see how this thrift store was. I love it. It is crowded with items but there are some great finds if you are willing to hunt. I found a great board game and some pillow cases still in their packaging. Prices are wonderful. There's a lot of vintage items. And it's for a great cause. I'd say if you are thrift store shopper, take a look. It's always these little charity run places that have the coolest stuff.
I went in to the store I wasn’t aware it was closing soon i usually don’t write bad reviews but the staff made me so uncomfortable . The whole time I was looking around , I heard the two staff members talking about how annoying it is when customers won’t leave . I was visibly in earshot and heard them making jokes about their other jobs and how customers would just keep shopping when the store is closed. They didn’t tell me anything about the store hours so I thought i was good. On top of the staff being rude , everything was overpriced for a thrift store. Never going there again.
Love Urban Promise Thrift. Neat, clean, organized. Variety of nicely priced, quality clothing & accessories for men, women, teens & kids. One- stop shopping today! Needed kitchenware items, curtain panels, odds & ends. Wish I had more time to peruse huge selection of books & art decor. Always something new. Helpful, pleasant staff. Great place to donate your stuff, too. Great cause!
This thrift store is a couple blocks from my home, and I absolutely love it. Staff are friendly and I never leave empty handed. I love wicked baskets and this place has a lot to choose from at an affordable price
I am visiting from Atlanta. This is mmy second time and I will be back next Month. I got some unbelievable Bargains. I wanted Formal wear, I was absolutely elated when I found several gowns. The prices were so on point! I recommend anyone to go on their shopping spree, you will leave out with several things!
I had a very positive experience since this was my first time in this store. They were helpful friendly and I ended up getting what I wanted without difficulty. I have some mobility issues and about I found the store easy to move around in and areas were well-marked. Believe me I will be going back.
About a month ago I stopped in this store and purchased a really nice chair that was basically brand new. I was helped by an older sweet lady who couldn’t have been more pleasant. Today I stopped in and had the complete opposite experience. There was a staff member looked as if she was in her 50s early 60s very vocal As I was looking around the store I could hear her talking about me to the other staff members and commenting on the purse I was wearing. It was Michael Kors , we’re not talking Gucci or LV. I was “REVERSED PRETTY WOMANED” as my friend put it while I told her of this insane experience. I could tell the lady was clearly on drugs. No judgment there, but man, I was just starting to tell my friends about this place. Never again. Talk about someone single handedly messing up your business, it’s a shame.
