I am less than impressed by this office. My daughter needed an X-ray. I registered her for an X-ray. They do not do X-rays there and have not for the past 4 years due to not having a technician. However the registration woman did not tell me that. I waited an hour and half for the PA to tell me she needs an X-ray but that I had to go to Geneva hospital because they don’t offer X-rays. Their waiting room wall says “lab/xrays” which I asked why is this sign still up then? He also informed me the front staff are not allowed to tell patients that they do not offer X-rays. ????? Never again.
I came to urgent care in Seneca falls for a bee sting on my tongue and the nurse at the desk said they were closed but had me follow her in the back to get a doctor, due to the quick actions of the nurse and doctor they were able to call an ambulance and get me and epipen and Benadryl dose before the ambulance got there and for that I will be forever greatful even though they were closed they could see I needed help and didn’t even hesitate!
Was seen by Tim in urgent care for sinus infection. Not the first time I’ve been seen by him but it has always been a pleasure. Great experience every time!
If I could leave a review with no stars I would. I typically disregard a bad experience but I felt this needed attention. I went to Seneca falls urgent care yesterday in the early afternoon. I have a gum abcess that needed an antibiotic. Nothing major. Just wanted meds while I waitt for the dentist appointment. Anyways you cant even check in when you get there. They take your name and call you up. There was one lady in front of me with two small children. The receptionist called her up and proceeded to speak to her about her issue which I heard all about. She didn't call me up for another 15 minutes and advised me that it would be 45 minutes to an hour wait. There were two gentlemen called back while I waited neither of which returned before I decided to leave. People came in and out of urgent care as the receptionist basically triage them and tried to talk them into leaving. I understand with covid-19 cars in the parking lot waiting for phone calls and testing. I waited over an hour and finally decided to leave. Not one car was in the parking lot so I'm not sure what the holdup was at that point. I understand having to wait at places like this but please do not have your receptionist come around from her desk and ask somebody all about why they're there and then say to wait until tomorrow. I decided to leave and ended up going to wellnow urgent care in Geneva. I was out of there in less than half an hour. Try to avoid this place and visit somewhere else.
Writing this review on behalf of my girlfriend, who went in looking for further diagnosis with a continuing severe sore throat after two weeks of antibiotics and other medication. She got better, then got much worse. She was just worried the medication wasn’t working. This is not the issue. Doctors can make mistakes. She is not upset by that. What upset her was the interaction she had with Dr. Khurram Farooq. Below is a direct quote from her regarding her experience with Dr. Farooq earlier today: “ He came in having already decided what the diagnosis was, rushed through it, I barely got to say what I wanted to say. When I told him my throat is swollen he told me that's just how it feels but when he looked with his scope it was just red not swollen. I didn't get the chance to mention how I could feel how swollen my lymph nodes were just by touch. He didn't feel my throat at all. I felt like he accused me of coming in for just an antibiotic but really I just wanted a diagnosis or something that'll help me more. He just had this attitude of knowing it all and rushing through to get to the next patient and just made me feel stupid for even wanting to come in the first place. He didn't even say I was all set he just walked out the door and I had to ask him across the hall after he already sat down on the computer if I could have a doctors note for work.” This is a blatant lack of compassion and care. This is not how we expect medical professionals to conduct themselves. I can understand having a busy day. That is no excuse for caring so little about a patients concerns. Not for nothing, but this is the second time I have had a negative experience involving rude doctors at this place. Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the first doc, so I cannot inform you any further on that. Be wary of this. Stand up for yourselves when your caregiver is rude or dispassionate. They need to be held accountable for their actions. -A
My most recent visit to urgent care took over an hour and a half to be admitted. But, if you have scheduled an appointment, they will take you in almost Always at the time you scheduled. Also, if you are tested for strep there and it comes up negative they no longer need to send it to a different lab. They also have an x-ray machine.
Very courteous, able to do my covid test quick.
Out of the three appointments I had, two of them I had to wait forty-five minutes to see someone for fifteen minutes of terrible care. Terrible.
Great alternative to waiting in an ER.
A very friendly place to go. I would recommend this place
