Beautiful stadium careful with the sun's location and your seats, visitors. Bring a blanket, not just because of the cold metal bench seats, but because the temperature drops sharply after sunset! Oddly, ladies' bathrooms don't have any mirrors and have a very low trough sink. Also, at last week's Nevada game, a family with a little boy was told that he could not be in line with them where alcohol was being served but instead had to wait elsewhere, much farther than arms' length, because of some commander's bizarre policy.
First time at the Air Force Academy. This stadium is great. It has such a cozy and intimate feeling. Every seat looks like it would be great to watch from. We really enjoyed the day there.
Wow... the Stadium is amazing and watching a game there was the best ... felt like they welcome u with open arms... we watched the Cu vs Air Force and AF won.. even with the rain and it being cold the game went on and half the fans stayed to watch a great game... I highly recommend going to one of there games... amazing
A Colorado Native of 50 years & this was a first time visit! My daughter was performing with Horizon High School's marching band, she is in their Color Guard & they were performing at the Colorado State competition. So I did experience this visit at a different kind of venue than a football game or some ceremony for The Air Force Academy. But I don't know that the stadium would have had any different effect on me? In saying this I was in a way awe struck . As we were walking around the walk-way I noticed plaques on the wall I really didn't get the chance to stop & really read them so I honestly cant say what or who they honored. As we got to the seats that we thought would have the best view of the field and the performance's, I realized there was probably not a bad seat in the stadium. I stood there and tried to take all of it in knowing that this may be the only time I will get to visit it in person! I was impressed with how clean it all was. Including all the glass & silver bleachers, and the few banners, speakers, concession stands and yes even the trash cans! Even the field looked fresh and clean! That is very impressive since it is an outdoor venue here in the state of Colorado where the weather can be considered a nice warm fall day where us Natives are running around in shorts and in the next 15 minutes it has become windy with a lil bit of a nipp in it and then it rains or snows. Plus all the stuff that probably gets spilled or dumped on it! It made me proud that our nation takes such great care in keeping an area where our Air Force Academy Cadets call their home away from home while serving our great country so clean and shiny!! This was why I was in a way awe struck. It was something that meant just a lil more to me than it might have for anyone else who visits or gets to experience this beautiful stadium more frequently and overlooks all the lil things that seemed big for me.
Very peaceful. Came here on a Friday around 11:30am. I didn't see a single person other than the guards way down at the gates. All gates to the stadium were locked but I got lucky & found an opened one by the front right of the Falcon statue. Cool fact: this stadium sits higher than Mile High, where the Broncos play or try to play
This is a super fun way to enjoy college football! The facility is clean, accessible, well taken care of and with plenty of amenities. Food trucks are available making the snack and dining options that much better. And, who would not enjoy a game with all of the Military traditions and a Flyover!
I have always enjoyed going to the Air Force football games. Parking is easy to get into and leaving. Tickets are decently priced through the Falcons website. Food is stadium food with minimal contact. And the best part… where else do you get to see amazing flybys or Falcons close-up. GO AIR FORCE!!!
Was really fun. Loved the Drum and Bugle Corps tunnel show before the game. They fly over was neat as well. Lots of fun little things they do throughout the game.
Great game at USAFA, tons of food and concessions, great security and crowd processing. Overall great experience!
Had a great time. I've been to college football games all over the nation now and this atmosphere was more laid back than most, but I consider that a good thing. Stadium was very clean and easy to navigate. Fans were respectful and courteous. Great experience.
