I am one of the Admissions Representative here at U.S. Colleges. I thoroughly enjoy providing prospective students with answers to questions regarding the programs we offer. Whether that be our Phlebotomy Technician program, Clinical Medical Assistant program or the Emergency Medical Technician Program. It is amazing watching a person progress through the program, graduate and then move on to securing a job within their newly acquired career. The smile and excitement when they pass their National Exams is most rewarding to me. I want to provide every student with the support and encouragement needed to succeed. That is what each of us deserves, "Success in Life". 2023 is going to provide a lot of people the opportunity to either change careers all together or use education as a means to advance in an already established career. I want to be a part of that for every person I talk to. Happy New Year and I am here if you ever need help.
Okay, let me start off by… don’t always believe what you read. Some people may have had a bad experience but some people like me had a great experience at US Colleges. Staff is nice and straight forward with lots of information and knowledge. They give you the tools to help you become great in what you desire to be either if it’s a phlebotomist or medical assistant, etc. IT IS UP TO YOU TO DO WHAT IS NEEDED TO DO WITH WHAT IS PROVIDED. They have great teachers like Ms. Maritza and a great proctor like Ms. Verushka. you won’t regret making the decision to come here. They have morning schedules, night, and weekends. So you create your schedule to attend. And a kindly reminder, these people are human too and have challenges with life as well. Please be kind because they are sincere about teaching and helping you in your career.
I took the CPT program here and I have a really good time here at this school. Everyone is very helpful mrs. Maritza is the best, she is very knowledgeable and will have you feeling confident in your sticks by the end of the first week of venipunctures. The education plan is clearly layed out and the externship coordinator mrs.Veruska is amazing ! She is so nice and very knowledgeable, she is the best I learned so much technique from her. I will say some teachers can be strict here but for good reason, trust me you’ll do well at this school.
I personally loved the morning medical assistant class with Ms. Nancy , I loved her way of teaching and was always very helpful … I definitely recommend this class to everyone!
I am so happy I was able to complete MA school. It has opened a lot of opportunities for me, and I was able to do it affordably & while still being able to work. Thank you!
If I can give this place is zero star, I would do it. I had a emergency happened to me, and I was unable to make the first payment. So ever since then, I've been harassed daily by the corporate office, and they're even harassing my very ill father, who is in the hospital this place does not care about anybody, but the money that they want .DO NOT come here, the only person in the whole entire building that is worth anything is miss Nanc the MA instructor, the rest of the people there are garbage, corporate is garbage, do not waste your money here, This place is money hungry and that's all.
This place is a joke. Don't waste your money. Unorganized, lagging on tasks for students once the class is complete. I finished my externship last October for phlebotomy and the coordinator, Justin Anderson, lied about sending the documentation to the state. It was never sent! I know this by contacting the CDPH myself numerous times. Then, Don, at the front desk told me he'd be the one to take care of it April 22nd, Friday. He calls me May 24th and submits it. A month later! Do NOT come here. Stay far, far away. I am looking forward to reporting this location and it's staff to the BBB and the state health department.
Did my externship at Alvarado with Ms. V veruska ! She was very professional and informative. I learned so much from her. Enjoyed my time and experience due to her.
Wow I was just gonna attend on the 19th until I seen these reviews and I’m glad i did I’ll find another school
