US Police

Not very friendly or helpful also I don't think it's right when they pull you over for no good reason and then they accuse you of drinking or doing something wrong when you have done nothing wrong and have never even been in trouble. Spend your time looking for people actually doing crimes and not people doing nothing wrong. I have been pulled over before in Hazel Park and the cops were friendly and don't try to accuse you of anything.

Officer Barrett #125 is beyond amazing! He went above and beyond to help me in a very unfortunate situation that was out of my control. I’m so thankful people like him still exist. Very considerate and understanding! How could I ever repay him?

Tricky to find it's kinda tucked in behind the library and fire department, but really very nice as far as Police Departments go. Nobody WANTS to spend time at their local PD, but sometimes it's a necessity. I've found that the officers working the front desk are polite and helpful. Also the main lobby isn't the worst place to sit and kick back while you wait. They're open 24/7 obviously?, so you can pop in anytime you need.

Protect and Serve... and also cash grab. I was pulled over for what was called an illegal left turn. While pulled over, 4 other cars made the same infraction all resulting in a ticket. Instead of bleeding your residents out of more money, how about a sign that cleary states the left turn is illegal. The police officer was also double parked while making his quota. I understand that being above the law can be fun and even rewarding sometimes but lets do the right thing and make Madison Heights the community we all know it can be. A wise man once said, winners focus on winning, losers focus on winners. Think about it... because I'm a winner.

great bunch of guys, some even play hockey pretty well. in all seriousness, they do a great job policing AND don't talk down to folks. they have great people skills. royal oak could do well to emulate Madison Heights.

The Madison Heights Police officers are truly awesome people they've helped me out in many ways when I was having or when I do have a anxiety attack or worse, they help calm down and talk to me like a normal human being, these or all police officers needs to be recognize for the hard work they do day in and day out never knowing if they will make it back home after their shift these officers are truly amazing and they do a fine job... thank you very much Madison Heights Police Department

Called about a sick raccoon in my backyard​. Two officers show up to look at it and tell me there is nothing they can do about it. The animal control officer is on vacation until next Monday. I'm wondering what we pay taxes for?

Some of the best police officers I ever met work here. They will do whatever it takes to help victims of crimes. THANK YOU!
