I would like to say, I did not receive my Amazon order on time, which I paid extra for, because my mail person said there was animal interference when there was clearly no interference because I was home with my doors open and he/she Never showed up and my dog was inside. I called and the man said he would send them back out and never did. So, quit lying and do your job.
Well today the lady behind the counter was very rude ! I wish the was more room here for details ! She should have stayed home if she doesn't like doing her job
They are constantly delivering my packages to the wrong house. I always have to call and make them look for the packages and stay on top of them to get them in my possession, usually days later. One time all of my packages had even been opened by the person it was delivered too and he tried keeping one of the items as well. They are never apologetic of their mistakes. They act more annoyed that you’re making them look for your package. They just do not care at all. They also never take my outgoing packages and I have to stick my mail out of the mailbox for them to take outgoing mail as well.
I'm from Michigan and still have never received such horrible service from a post office. I have to redeliver the mail in my mailbox to my neighbors not knowing if they do the same for me but they never get it right, plus they always say it's because it's a new deliverer. Also I'm a stay at home mom I do see who delivers my mail, I have lived in the same house for over a year and it has been the same vehicle. They never call back when they say they will, and nothing is ever done about the situations.
I moved here almost 8 years ago and since I've been here I have had mail stolen and or received open mail. At first we figured it was just the staff delivering the mail. So we went into the post office to ship out mail that never got to its location. I am disgusted. A few years ago we tried talking to the Post Master General and he dismissed us like it wasn't his people stealing. I've lived in big cities and moved a few times and never once had issues with the post office stealing. This is a disgrace!
Have received dozens of packages without a problem. I recently tracked my package, only to say that it was "delivered." It was not. I have made several calls and nobody knows where my package went. My best assumption is that they left my package out for the trash guy They ran the same day at a very similar time.
Poor service. High turnover rate. lost mail, I'm a business forgets to pick up mail on a Saturday because I had no mail to deliver. Leaving mail that's not even mine. I have now contact the major USPS directly. They are bad to wait time 30 min. Are system is broke and needs fixed. Also. leaves my mail box door opened. wow hope this poor service will change. look at their rating it speaks for itself. They need to be more accountable.
The local post office is excellent, but the 800 number sucks! You have to jump through way too many hoops to get a live person and the computer gets stuff wrong more often then it gets them right. I ordered a package and it was shipped to me on November 29th. Here it is the 12th of December and nobody seems to know where the package is at. I know damn well it does NOT take 13 days to come from the far east to the US. All I want to know is am I going to get this before Christmas or is it going to show up in January 2019? Why is this so darned difficult for the 800 number to tell me?
Carriers are allowed to decided on thier own if they feel ok delivering mail to homes because of fails fears.i.e hearing a dog bark inside. Pretty sure animal dangers are known prior to job placement an provided PPE if instances happen . I was sitting in sunroom watching mail lady stop an then walk past after hearing my dog bark while sitting in sunroom next to me. Your job is to deliver my mail. If u fear for your safety use your ppe or find a different job cus nothing occured . Ahe even came to my house when I asked if I had mail . Smh then tried to defend herself by sayin this is what we are taught to do . I asked if it was written in her employment contract an n ok answer. I said do you not ha e mace an such . As well as seeing me you could even ask if my dog was restrained she simply chose to skip dilevery until I spoke up.postal office said she has right to do that.
I always go into the post office to fill out their form to hold my mail when I am on vacation. I did the same this time. My mail was delivered every day I was gone. Luckily had a family member who saw it and picked it up for me. I called and the post office found my card and said that the carrier had put it in a different location. Very unhappy!
