We live in a new subdivision but receive mail and packages from all stores and shipping companies. The only issue we have is with USPS carrier . He can’t deliver it and keep sending it back. Packages came all the way from China to Ozark post office and can not be delivered 0.5 of the mile to my house.
I don’t know how the people that work here actually keep a job since they obviously don’t pay attention to what they are doing. Our mail is constantly being delivered to other people’s addresses and they never take the outgoing mail out of box, they just put the flag down and go on. We’ve had more packages lost or never delivered more then ever now. Honestly its just another failed federal facility
The staff inside this post office are very pleasant and friendly. Unfortunately, the management is not. She is tacky and rude. Such a shame. They will withhold your mail unless you purchase a new key for your mailbox that is out of your control as a renter.. they wrote on our package that was supposed to be delivered to OUR DOOR, not even our MAILBOX, “CANNOT PICK UP UNTIL KEY IS PAID”… uhm.. it doesn’t even fit in the mail box AND I told them the previous week that my husband would be in this week to pay for the new key ourselves. I communicated and they were still passive aggressive. And there was absolutely NO NEED for the passive aggressive behavior. We can literally see on our package where they wrote on it. We had our mail on hold for a long time since we didn’t have a key and we were out of town a lot due to work and some family emergencies. I was never told we couldn’t do that until the manager told me a few weeks ago. The communication between management and staff is non-existent here. I tried to explain that we were never told we couldn’t put the mail on hold for in person pick ups an extended amount of time, but she didn’t care and was nasty to me over the ordeal. I also asked her to call me in regards to some mail and to further discuss the issues and work them out but she never called. They shove everything they can in our tiny unit mailbox and bend everything in the process, even envelopes that say “do not bend”. We are moving soon and although we love Ozark, I’d like to move far enough to avoid this post office. Tacky and immature behavior.
Today, July 13, 2023, a package of my meds were delivered. Instead of bringing it up to my home, the carrier placed the package on the ground behind the mailbox! This is not acceptable and exhibits pure laziness!
My experience at the this post office has always been very good. The employees are helpful and very friendly.
This is a post office, a place to take your packages and ship them out and also a place where you can buy stamps! Not only can you buy stamps but you can also buy tape and other packing supplies! They also have free priority boxes! You could even get a p.o. box if you chose to! Friendly and helpful staff work here too!
Not often at all I go to the post office, but I had a pleasant experience while mailing a couple packages. The pricing on mailing packages is much cheaper usps than any other place there is. The young man and the young lady who helped me, were helpful, pleasant, and friendly. I can honestly say, unless the post office closes shop and everybody quits, I'll never walk in to a FedEx or UPS again. I'm starting to sound like the insurance commercial where adult kids act like their parents. Lol. I'm out
Worse services ever. I’ve had missing packages to packages being delivered to other addresses multiple times. But, today was the worse. I paid 15 dollars to hold a package that I needed for my business. I tracked it to be delivered to Ozark Post Office on Saturday. I went there Saturday morning to see if I can pick up. Lady at the desk said it was still in the truck and they will deliver it. However, I did not get it Saturday. No problem! Monday comes, I go there in the morning to pick it up, same Lady says it still in the back and they can deliver it or I can come back. I tell her I have to run errands and best if they deliver it. I ask for a refund since they can’t get my item to me. She tells me it’s not her job and I need to call the customer service line. Ok, wait all day and nothing; I go back and the same lady tells me she has no idea where my item is and that maybe it’s not been delivered yet because there two post men doing deliveries. But I know the timeframe when my mail is delivered and told her I have received all my mail for today and my package was still not there. She calls for the postmaster who then makes me wait another 20 minutes and finally knows where my package is. It was sitting on a desk somewhere. Seriously, they have incompetent people working there and have no idea what they’re doing. Never again will I pay extra to hold any packages with the USPS!
I wish I could give them less than 1. I ordered stamps on USPS.com on Nov 22, because I hate going into this post office. I received an alert on my phone on Monday Nov 30th saying my stamps were delivered. My husband went to the box to get them about 10 minutes later, only to come back and tell me there wasn't anything in the box at all. So I waited until Tuesday to see if they would be in the box on that day, they weren't. So I attempted to call the post office for over 3 hours, only to get a busy signal. I went on line and filled out the form to report lost mail. I immediately received the auto generated email stating they were looking into my issue. Then I received another email from someone named Don Spiares saying he would be investigating my issue # 17778970. I still had not heard anything from anyone by Friday, so I went to the post office and spoke with someone named Jeanne I think, she looked at GPS and said the package was put in one of the 3 mailboxes closest to mine. She would have the carrier contact my neighbors to see it they had my package. This didn't happen because I checked with my neighbors myself, they did not have them. I waited to hear from anyone else over the weekend, I didn't so on Monday I went back to the post office, and spoke with David a supervisor. One of the most arrogant, rude individuals I have ever had the pleasure to speak with. His response to my issue was "Your package was stolen out of your mailbox, and you need to file a police report" He could not show me a satellite picture of her putting the package in my mailbox, but he could jump to the conclusion that they were stolen from my box in the 10 minute time frame that they were scanned and my husband went to the box. I have lived in my house 28 years, and have never had any thing stolen from my mail box, but I have had my mail in other boxes, I have had others mail in my box, I have had packages thrown on the ground in front of my box and many of my neighbors have filed complaints, so I will never believe they were stolen from my box. On another note, my stamps showed up in my box today, 8 days past the day the package was scanned as delivered.
I have had so many packages I drop off prepaid that just do not scan in! I understand around the holidays, but it’s mid March and my business relies on reliability. When packages aren’t scanned in with tracking for days or can’t get ahold of anyone, it’s extremely frustrating to say the least.
