I was missing a package that I was notified was delivered. I fully expected to be completely blown off when I called the office. I wasn’t at all. The man on the phone was very kind, even though I was asking about something that seemed frivolous. He even took down the tracking number.
The staff/workers are pleasant. I'm in a new home where there is one main box that holds the mail with seperate boxes for each address, that can be accessed with a key. The post master just personally delivered a key to me. It was much appreciated:.
I live near the post office in town and because we are within 1/4 mile, they do not deliver to our house. I was told that I had to get a Post Office Box in order to receive mail here. $80/year. Paid in advance. Fine. Come to find out months later, that my upstairs neighbor complained about this policy and receives a FREE post office box. When I inquired with the post master, last year, I was told that my coming year would be free. When I went to renew my "free" PO box, I was told there is only one per residence...and I live in a 2-family building so my upstairs neighbor who moved in after me gets a free PO Box but I myself cannot get one. This seems like a ridiculous policy. I'm curious if any other neighbors been told about the Free boxes or if they're just making $80 per person because they don't want to deliver?
Have never had more problems with mail after moving to Upton. USPS is a national embarrassment
They tamper with my mail, return my boxes without leaving a notice for me to pick them up and gossip about me around town. Horrible people
Very clean facility. The postal employees are friendly & accommodating
