I have gone to this post office in Winston OR for a year and a half now. The gentleman that works there is always personable and courteous. I went there yesterday, shipping off some packages. No matter how busy he gets, he treats everyone with respect and is upbeat. So the next time you go to a post office, be patient, courteous, thankful, and respectful. Especially during the Holidays . Trying to get packages from this place is like pulling teeth . I had one package suppose to go to my home and it was sent to post office cause half way here it was switched to usps which they do not have po box number to go by so post office puts insuffincent address and sends my package back to sender . I know today is mlk jr. day but thereis no sign up saying when they are closed or open it just says 7-5:30 . And there was someone there and they would not come to the door you could hear them walk past the door and went into an office cause i heard keys being dropped on table /desk top . This is the worst place to get things its a 50/50 that you get anything .
The box will go in but has to be cut out! How is this acceptable?
The absolute worst post office I’ve ever come in contact with. I’ve lived in winston for a year and a half now and ever single package I’ve ever had delivered to my P.O. Box is never there, no slip, so I have to ask them to look in the back- they do and say there’s nothing there! I have to check everyday for up to a week after my package says delivered till someone finally takes the time to LOOK for it, and that’s only if they haven’t sent it back! I recently had a Christmas present delivered on Monday, and they had it returned to sender the same exact day it had been delivered to their post office! I literally can’t even believe they’re still up and running with how careless and irresponsible they run things there. I’d rather have my mail delivered all the way in Roseburg at a friends house and drive there every time than to deal with this anymore. I pray they get shut down or rehire and entire new crew for the sake of everyone else who had to put up with this with no choice.
They don't actually try to solve any of your delivery issues. "We don't deliver to your house because there's no mail box? Okay, we'll just keep it on our delivery truck for OVER A WEEK, and ONLY EVER TELL YOU that it's 'out for delivery. Just wait!'" No! It. Can't. Be. Delivered. They don't look for anything you have a tracking number for, and they have never, ever called us back when they say they will... Truly the WORST Post Office we've ever dealt with. We have a problem EVERY time we need to reach out to them, and we HATE when we have to! Not to mention their "we're too busy to help you" attitudes, when it's LITERALLY THEIR JOB to get packages delivered. I worked at FedEx for years, and their work ethic appalls me.
The Postmaster does not deal with problems or complaints, and the mail courier does not properly deliver mail to people. The Apartment Complex here has submitted multiple complaints, written and verbally, and the Postmaster does not take them, confronts the people complaining, and defends the courier without taking evidence.
Very rude at the counter. Also, if you live in an apartment complex, expect your mail to go to someone else's box... Multiple times.
3 times this month my mail was not delivered to my box. First it was an expensive package that went missing, then it was a card from my grandparents and most importantly a county letter that caused me to lose a customer, as I am self employed. Horrible customer service when I complained about the issue!
I get my mail daily and the staff is helpful and friendly.
They are their to make our life a living hell. I cannot say anything nice about them. They need to be private, so if they fail, they fail.
