If Gary did not assist me with this ongoing issue I was having it would of never been taken care of. I would have rated this location one star. Gary went above and beyond to assist me after dealing with so many managers that could care less. Y'all should really get Gary to get these managers together because he knows what empathy is and knows what great customer service is all about. Thank you Gary you are the star at this location.
Have always had great service and reassurance with my packages. They ship out quick and efficiently which my customers appreciate.
Warning to all. Me and others have had several items come up missing. But said delivered. Apparently alot of thieves work here. No way to talk to anyone. Your money is gone. No accountability when it comes to thieves in government.
Glad to see they supply area has been organized and cleaned up. Staff are always very helpful. Hope to see the outside grounds cleaned soon.
They lost a very important document of mine Green card. I spent so many hours to follow up on this matter. When the immigration resent the document, and I had the tracking number in hand which showed that the parcel arrived at the postal center second time, staff were still saying that they can't find the parcel inside the facility. I could get my package only after I involved field representative, and post office inspector.
I've never had any issues with receiving letters or regular mail from this post office, which is why this review is two stars and not one. However the people here are have been rude the two times I've had an issue with package delivery. Two separate times I have been treated like I was an idiot by older men who work there. Today was the second time. I received a notification that a package I ordered on Amazon was "ready for pickup" so I went to get it at lunch. I tried calling them three times but I didn’t get an answer so I just went down there. The man who was assisting me took my phone without asking after he said, "Are you sure it's with us and not UPS?" to check that the Amazon notification said. I told him yes, I'm positive. He seemed bothered to be assisting me. I say assist and not help because he was absolutely no help. He then took my phone again to write down the tracking number so he could go in the back and check. He asked this time, but I wish I had told him the number and not let him take my phone again. You just don’t take or ask to see a stranger’s phone, especially during cold/flu season! When he came out from the back after about a minute he asked another person behind the counter about the package and that person said it was “on the street.” He then told me that it’s out for delivery on a truck and I should go home and see if it’s there or wait til the end of the day. I left after that he made it clear that was the end of our conversation. I was upset and annoyed because he was talking down to me. Like, how dare I come and ask about a package that says it was delivered without going home to check if it was there first? I must have some nerve! My mail carrier usually delivers in the late morning, though, and I order from Amazon all the time, so I knew that it wouldn’t be there. Like I thought, the package wasn’t there when I went home right after. So, I double checked with USPS tracking online and it said the package was delivered at the 72202 post office at 10:47 a.m. this morning. I called again this afternoon and, unfortunately, spoke with the same rude man on the phone. He told me the same thing as earlier, so I asked why it said it was at that post office if it was on a truck somewhere. He said something about the route being split up and that I should get it later. I said thanks and he hung up right away. I’ve had this issue at this post office once last year, but it was with a package I ordered from Etsy, never with Amazon. Some other guy found it after I persisted that it was there and not at my apartment. I remember him asking me if I was sure of the address and my response was, “Yes. I know where I live.” If I didn’t need this package right away, I would wait a day or two to see if got delivered later. I wish I remembered the guy’s name from today so I could call him out here, but I don’t. I understand that this is out of his hands at the moment, but he could have been nicer and not treated me like a child. I'll take my business to the post office in The Heights from now on when I need to mail packages because the people who work there are always very nice. I’ve had pleasant experiences at other post offices in Little Rock too, but I will NEVER go back to this one to mail a package again.
Less than helpful staff member I was dealing with today. Came in to inquire about a missing package and to see if anything could be done. The guy who 'helped' me said there was absolutely nothing they could do and didn't give me any further advice...how he went about it all led me to believe that nothing could be done and that my package was just left out in the ether. He was also very condescending and a dick. All the while you can submit a missing package request through the USPS website - something this guy should have been able to tell me since he is employed by the USPS after all.
I sent a certified package on 8/2 from Little Rock to Sherwood and it didn't deliver until 8/10???? My husband had sent a certified letter at the same time Arizona and it got there within a few days. Why does it take less time to go to another state than less than 10 miles down the road???? Things like this are why people absolutely HATE using the Post office. The people working there may be nice but the service is HORRIBLE! Too bad Amazon doesn't deliver mail, they'd do a MUCH better job!
For passport: The office is open 8am to 330pm, most business days. I arrived at 255pm. There were several people in line, and I was informed that if I wasn't receiving service by the one employee by 320, then I'd have to come back another day. I understand that government offices function with restricted hours and with staff who aren't interested in staying late, but considering that this is the only place in town for passports, this is extremely poor customer service. Even the federal government should be better than this.
8 people are waiting, only one staff member, can you open another window? ? ?
