Central Florida USO's mission is to strengthen America's service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country throughout their service to the nation.
Today’s military families encounter unprecedented challenges as our troops face extended and repeat deployments to distant and hostile locations. When military members return home, they confront the difficulty of regrouping and reconnecting with family. USO is committed to help our military and their families meet those challenges through diverse programs and services. For more than 75 years, USO has served our military from the onset of their service, through deployment, and as they transition back to family and community.
Today’s USO is always by their side, meeting the needs of our troops and families in new and imaginative ways…but it only happens thanks to the generosity and commitment of the American public, who have been the source of support to USO for more than 70 years. When asked, military men and women spoke of USO boosting morale, reminding them of their countries support, and easing separation of family and friends.
As a nonprofit, congressionally chartered, private organization, USO relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporations to support its activities. USO is not part of the U.S. government and receives no government funding.
