Had a great experience here. Just walking in, I could tell it was a friendly and happy atmosphere, which you don’t get at all USPS stores. Angel specifically was super helpful, and always had a smile and positive attitude. They have a nice team there - all of whom are friends. It makes a big difference for the customer.
The staff were rude and unhelpful, at one point even yelling at me from across the lobby. I will never ship a package through the post office again
Angel was wonderful and helped us a lot with passport service. She accomodated our needs very well. Very kind and efficient!
Low drama two kiosk post office that stays open until 7pm. Sometimes the lines are long but their staff is nice and competent.
This location typically offers good service. But today when I came to get keys for the mailbox to my new apartment, I was informed that the one guy who makes the keys has been taking 6-12 weeks that's *weeks* to make and deliver keys. USPS needs to hire more people to make these keys at a minimum.
Great customer service today at the Bash St. location. Gentleman handling customers this morning was efficient, polite and had strong customer service skills. I was very impressed at the professionalism in this office.
Amazon package was undeliverable and was “Held for pickup at carrier location” but I work from home?? Then when I went to pick it up they told me they haven’t dropped it off yet so I can either come back tomorrow or they can redeliver it tomorrow.
Here is a picture of how one of the Casleton branches carriers parks to deliver mail. Blocking off a full lane of traffic, being an obstruction in the road, no hazards, warning devices, or lights on. This was just recently taken a week ago Wednesday. Reported it to the supervisor of the branch and her response was, "unless I physically see it, there is nothing I can do about it." Apparently a picture and video, which I can't post on here, is not good enough. More to come folks this postal carrier is the cream of the crop.
A package was supposed to come today and was out for delivery at 7:11 AM. at 12:49 I got an email saying it was available for pickup. At about 4 PM I drove up there and spoke with one lady who asked if I had paperwork. I asked “I have the tracking number, what paperwork do you need?” And she said “I don’t know”. Huh? So she took my address and looked in the back and said it wasn’t there. I simply asked “but then where is it?” And she smacked her teeth and said “I don’t know man it’s not here” as she was walking back to the back. She came back with her supervisor I suppose. Who told me that “available for pickup” means it arrived and will be delivered tomorrow. I told her it was out for delivery this morning but came back here. And she told me she doesn’t know what it means then. How do neither of you know what your system notifications mean? They both had an attitude because I simply was confused as to where my package was. They need to purge these employees and find new ones because these reviews are tragic and not over exaggerating
I went to this post office to mail an ebay return package with a QR code, which was generated by the website. When I arrived, there was a huge line of people waiting to be helped. They had one guy there who seemed to know what he was doing, and it seemed like everyone was waiting in line to be helped by him, even though there were two other employees there. I told one of the other two employees that I had a QR code that they needed to scan because the self-service machines can't scan QR codes how lame is that?, and she told me that she didn't have the ability to scan them from her computer either, so I had to wait in this huge line for the one guy who knew how to do that. Then a new employee started her shift and after some aimless running around, she finally asked the "one knowledgeable guy" if she did, in fact, have the ability to scan QR codes from that same computer which the other employee told me that it wasn't capable of doing that, and he nonchalantly told her that it could do that. After that, they started pulling people out of the line who had QR codes, so that they could be helped by this new employee. Anyway, employee training is sorely lacking at this post office. They don't know how to perform basic tasks, and then rather than asking somebody for guidance, they just flatly say "I can't do that," and then they walk away. I tell you what, I wouldn't last long in a job if I did that, but I guess this is all part of the labor shortage. What people are willing to work, know that they can be lazy and incompetent and not be fired because then the place where they work will be even more short-staffed.
