Been using this post office for years and am in love. The staff are amazing - especially Rai! Would rate 10 stars if I could.
My husband has been using this post office for four years and I’ve been using it for three. They are always quick and efficient and I’ve never had an issue with a package I sent out through this location. The two women who were working today deserve tremendous praise. They were quick, efficient, and polite. When I arrived, there were four people ahead of me and three behind me. We were ALL in and out in under five minutes. This time of year is always busy and hectic—especially for postal workers, but these ladies made it look easy! I’ve always loved this post office, but today really showed me how incredible they really are! Thank you for all you do!
They screw up my mail continually.i can't believe the incompetence. I get my neighbors mail weekly
This is the WORST Post Office to deal with! The postmaster Carmencita and her assistant Patrick are lazy, rude and totally ineffective if you're having an issue. I have Informed Delivery, I receive an email each morning of the mail I should receive for the day. I'm missing mail every month and have been for the past 6 months. Carmencita states that her carrier can't delivery mail she doesn't receive? In other words Cleveland sorts and scans my mail and then fails to send a piece or two each month for the carrier to deliver? I'll believe that when pigs fly, it's NEVER happened before. Carmencita and Patrick act as though they're doing you a favor by delivering your mail, if a piece or two is missing "Oh Well". Why they have jobs is beyond me, both would be fired in the private sector! Don't bother filing an online complaint about the poor service because as Patrick stated on my voicemail on 12/6/18 @7:02pm it just comes back to their location, call the postal inspector to report your stolen mail. They're worthless and I'm happy to share my very unpleasant experience that I've had to deal with to save others the time, trouble and hair! WORTHLESS, NASTY BRANCH AND EMPLOYEES!
This place is a joke of a post office. My new mail carrier steals my mail. Doesn't deliver what she doesn't feel like and is to lazy to leave a package on my porch. Never a yellow slip in my box or anything that I have certified mail. She has stolen make up and just last week my prescription glasses. I'm disabled and don't get a lot of money so I can't replace what she takes. Yet she marks it delivered when she doesn't deliver it. I wish there were something I could do about this. Patrick told me to call the company and report them stolen. I'm not doing that cause I know for a fact that they weren't stolen. I wish I could press charges against her. I'm at such a loss that it's cheaper for me to get a P.0. Box then it is to replace what she has stolen. That's what I'm going to do. At least I'm guaranteed to get my mail that way. I'm 60 years old and I can't believe that this is what the mail system has come to. Good luck getting your mail 44278 residents .
I am a former new hire. Unfortunatley, it is was brief. I was elated to initiate, launch my new career with USPS. I valued my trainers time in all the chaos. It appeared she just wanted to get through it and took no interest in my time. She deliberately rerouted to throw me off due to her cell phone misplacement. If that was not obvious. She knew exact location and propped up against a tree. A portion of the addressed letters were misplaced in the tray so I missed mailbox deliveries along with the packages. She treated it like it was no big deal and that the letters would be delivered the following day except the packages. We backtracked. Meanwhile, she is riding me about the route deadline and when to return to the post office. What is fair about that when it was only my third or fourth day? She puts me in the hot seat and the blame game. My last day of training with her, I was supposed to deliver the whole route on my own. I came in early for a couple of days to learn casing off the clock. I had not expected my trainer to not show up. Especially on my last day. I have precepted for years in my career and I have never left anyone behind. Who does that? Apparently she called off due to a family emergency. Coincidental or deliberate. The delay was definitley intentional. I was thrown under the bus, bulled, undermined, lip service before I started. I am highly devastated they thrusted me out. I was even blamed for leaving them hanging. Seriously?! Realistically, how much assistance would I be able to offer upon delivery. Maybe a block or two if I am lucky. No, the blame lies with the trainer, not me. This differentiates valued training between her and I because I would "NEVER" leave anyone behind. I am disgusted. It would have been an awesome career if I had the proper training in the first place, not rushed around, redirected with only a few thoughts as an end result. Lisa West
They provided the worst service of any post office I've ever been to. I have had problems with them several times. This last time I tried calling ahead to reserve my postage because I was buying quite a bit. I called 6 TIMES over 3 hours and not once did anyone answer the phone. Horrible, horrible service. I resulted in driving there at which point I had to wait over 10 minutes for someone to even take my order. The staff at the counter were rude and disinterested. They even seemed annoyed that they had customers. If I could leave zero stars I would.
The ONLY person who is at all kind, friendly, and a decent human being is Sierrah. She was wonderful and easy to work with. I wish she could get 5 stars and the other employees could get zero. They are rude and act like you are an idiot, when they're the ones who completely lose packages or "deliver" them with no explanation. THANK YOU SIERRAH for trying to make up for everybody else's horribleness. I hope you get out of there and get some decent coworkers soon.
I would give ZERO stars if I could... To make a long story short, I was advised to speak with the postmaster about the issue I had with what was suppose to be a flat rate shipping box. The postmaster Carmen was nothing but defensive, argumentative, and NOT at all customer service oriented to say the least. I was calling to seek a better understanding if not a resolution as to why I was charged so much $50 when the box I was shipping for a family member was given to them as a flat rate shipping box... Clearly a huge miscommunication that started out with an employee giving out an international box saying it was a flat rate box. A miscommunication that costed me $50, and a very bad taste in my mouth towards the management at the Tallmadge Post Office. The complaints that I’ve read on here seem to be quite similar poor customer service & lack of professionalism I hope that upper management is paying attention.
Own the Tallmadge ship center. The manager of the Tallmadge post office DOES NOT want the USPS carrier that has our route to pick anything in the afternoon as they are required to do under our 18 year old contract... so essentially she wants the ship center to have a one day delay for all services... how can they meet the Priority and Express deadlines if she gets her wish? Answer- they cant. Utter incompetence. What reason can she possibly have to want USPS mail delayed??? Again.. shes the manager...????????????
