This review is for I believe her name is PATTY ONLY. She was at the second window today at 11:56am older lady with glasses. I went in running to deliver a package to Korea and she told me "you can just come back Monday we close at noon" I told her I am going on vacation and she had 4 people on the island wrapping packages that I would quickly fill out the custom paper and pay and with an attuide AGAIN proceeded to say "well we close at noon come back monday" the friendly clerk next to her took me nicely and took care of me. Thank you to her. She deserves a 5 star review. If I have to come back to the meriden location I'll make sure to not get "Patty" older women as my clerk. She's rude and doesn't know what costumer service is. Life is short be kind Patty!
What happened to this post office? It used to be a good experience. Now most of the staff is bothered by the idea of customer service. One of them even growls when she speaks to you. Things need to improve.
I put a hold on my mail and the mail person delivered it to the wrong address. So a neighbor on another street brought it over. How can you get addresses wrong when it’s your job?
It is clean roomy and very fast service has PO boxes packing supplies and does passport survices
Steva was so nice and helpful. She will make me want to go back in the office to mail anything.
Didn't deliver my car tax bill from the town for a month and a half. By the time I received it I had fees and interest on top of the bill so I called up the post office. Was greeted by a woman who told me there is "nothing they can do" and when I asked about reimbursement she promptly hung up the phone. Meriden Post Office needs to fire these horrible employees and hire people who know how to do their job. And yes I am reaching out to their district manager to get them written up for this.
This place is the most unorganized untimely and careless. My mail man or woman changes by the day. They put my mail in my neighbors or my neighbors in mine. Sometimes they don’t come for a few days. I call to complain and they said ohhh we are understaffed so no one is assigned your route today. WHAT IS THAT!?!! No one coming because the USPS IS CHEAP AND WONT HIRE?!? Terrible and they should be audited!
Great experiences. I usually drop off prepaid packages but over the last few months I have had my passport redone and inquired about slow to move packages. Each experience has been personable. I applaud them for doing such a great job during some of the craziest times.
they mess up my mails here and there but overall not too bad. i’ve went to this place twice and they did help me with what i needed.
GEORGETTE the postmaster is unprofessional and acts like she doesn't know any information about the post office guidelines. I have a private mailbox and every time I check my mail theres someone else's mail in my box. Then, I asked for the policy and guidelines manual for having a po box and they said they do not have that information. This is unacceptable because there should be something stating the services, I am paying for to have a po box. I use this for my business and theres still mail missing, that I never received with important information. The post office is handling everyone mail, so this is a huge concern because MUTIPLE people are missing mail documents. Truly, the postmaster and everyone working here needs retraining because this is an ongoing issue. I do not recommend anyone use them because there are unprofessional, unorganized and clueless when it comes to providing any services.
