I just moved from Decatur and had an issue with my mail forwarding. Duchess could not have been more pleasant or professional. She offered and completed a solution and found my mail, all in a span of 5 minutes. It was a completely different experience than my last trip to the Decatur post office. Kudos to Duchess!
I can't get into my mailbox with my key because something is blocking the entrance. I've called my leasing office; no help. I called the post office and they said there's nothing that they can do. I requested for the mail to be delivered to my home, no service. I've called today and there's a 30 min wait. I'm fed up with companies that doesn't deliver quality customer service. What a waste of tax dollars.
I only gave them three stars because there's not too many updates on Google. For those who can't get through the line to ask questions about different prices, I have taken some pictures in the lobby. These photos were taking through the glass so forgive the glare. Enjoy!
Absolutely horrible. Always a line and usually only one person working. The line sometimes extends throughout the building. It has been like this for the two years I’ve been coming here. Time to find a different method of shipping.
Go here if you want to meet some of the most absolutely rudest people in your life. Just a terrible place to do business.
You gave me all of another persons mail. Not a similar name, number, or address just straight up not paying any attention. Now you think im gonna wait on hold 20 minutes to tell you about your screw up . no thanks.
If you use the lagrange post office I am so sorry. By far the worst experience I've ever had with USPS. A package has been delivered to my house twice but have yet to receive it. USPS stood on my porch with my package in hand and told me I couldn't have it until I paid $51.00 for shipping I'm the buyer. Shipping was paid for by seller and have proof! But yet lovely USPS says it was shipped across 5 states but shipping was never paid and good luck making a claim, complaint, or even talking to someone because you'll never hear anything back from them ever.
If visiting, expect your visit to be at least 30 minutes. Everytime I come here, the line is insane. Not entirely the PO's fault, there's a lot of dummies that come in here at all times of the day. If expecting a delivery, you'd better have a gigantic mailbox the absolute closest to the road you can get it. Trying to receive anything in a mailbox smaller than a shipping crate where they'd have to walk any further than a few steps, you'll be getting a pink slip that makes you pick it up at the post office, voiding the entire notion of shipping and handling.
They lied to me about my package ! I went there twice and they told me the same lie twice . I received a message saying my package was undeliverable. You know why ?!?! BECAUSE IT WAS ON THE WRONG MAIL CARRIERS TRUCK ! And both times I went back up there to ask why was it saying undeliverable, they told me it would be delivered that day . But my tracking info never updated saying it would be delivered that day . It says that it was being returned to sender. So instead of telling me it was being returned back to the sender they insisted on lying to me saying my package was in the back and would be out for delivery that same day. Very unprofessional! The phone doesn’t even have the option to talk to someone besides the automatic system
I really don't understand some people saying they're kind. Are they all friends or families or what? They're not kind at all. At least they weren't for me. I don't even want to give them a 1star. They don't deserve 1star. They gave me some form when my turn, so I filled in. And made me wait almost 20 minutes after that and when I asked, sheblonde white women just said with the grumpy face, "We can't do that now. Cuz our computer is not working." Even without sorry. I said "You could have let me know before I'm waiting this whole time" and she said "I gave you this.form" That's it. So careless. Does she know some people really don't have time to waste?? It's not from one time experience. I've been there many time and they were always rude.
