We’ve live at the same address since 1986. About 10-15 years ago we started getting other peoples mail and Greer has lost many packages of ours. Once we just went to the address where we were getting mail for and sue enough our package was there. They are in complete denial that there is a problem but we have received dozens of envelopes and packages left at our address that aren’t ours. Why they can get the mail sorted correctly and delivered to the correct address is beyond believable. Worst PO there is.
Before the warnings came out about putting checks in the mail. We had mailed several checks to Birthday cards and of course bills. We’re older and still get stuff by mail. This missing checks Is really terrible. Even our garbage people had to be sent two checks.
I have been waiting for my check for months just for the mail carrier to place it in someone else’s mailbox an now I’m without my check. Teach your carriers to slow down an be more mindful of people’s importance documents. I’m highly disappointed
There is almost always a long line with long wait times; never enough people working the counter. Now, an unknown neighbor is parked near our mailbox, forcing the carrier to get out of their vehicle. I haven't gotten mail, but one day this week, and it included an envelope that was marked blocked with the date - that was 6 days prior. Just very disappointing service in general.
Teller at the front was pretty rude. She decided the try her insult comic skills out on us. Lady, Stick to your day job of putting stamps on envelopes.
Another absolutely awful government office. I’ve tried to get them to stop delivering mail addressed to a deceased person former owner of the house I bought in Greer for well over a year now. Every time I go up there they act confused or seem to think it’s impossible to stop delivering the dead person’s mail to my house. Is this such a difficult concept? It’s 2023 for goodness sake. Totally useless.
Update 2023: If anything they are somehow worse. Have to love the federal jobs. Let’s see..mailmain crushes almost every item I get despite being instructed where to put them. Argues witnessed it with Amazon Prime delivery driver for no good reason. They also still have the worst management/supervision anywhere. In the private sector every one of these people would’ve been fired long ago. Previous review: The worst. They have some great carriers for awhile, but then they are gone. A guy just left a package, didn’t even knock, in the pouring rain. Its completely soaked and electronic collectible inside was damaged! This has happened so many times when all my deliveries say to put in back porch, where they have cover and are protected. When you call, if lucky enough to speak to anyone in charge, they’ll either give you sarcasm or outright lip about issues. Inside, if slightly busy, expect the wait to be DMV almost amounts of time. I actually drive 9 miles out of my way and go to Taylors one just to avoid this one and usually save time overall if not gas. This post office needs a top to bottom overhaul. As long as the Postmaster is terrible, everything else will be too.
Really bad customer service. It is very sad, sometimes you just need a small piece of decency, but unfortunately there is none of that here, the staff is trained to as mean as they could possible be.
Boy I sure wish I could get mail, but apparently my address doesn’t exist. Twice I’ve had a package returned to sender for “no such number.” Amazon and fedex have both delivered just fine. I’ve been in contact with them the first and they said they would resolve the issue but obviously not. Would give 0 stars if possible.
I receive informed delivery and so I know what's coming in the mail that day. Go to main postal set of residence boxes, saw other people had mail, but nothing in mine. Where's my mail?
