They just stopped delivering my mail without any notification. Went to branch and was told that mail-delivery-person put my mail on hold because she declared my steps as unsafe. Would’ve loved to be notified instead of mail just stopped being delivered ………
We regularly get the wrong mail that’s meant for our neighbors and important mail or ours gets delivered somewhere and we get b ok answers from the post office. We were told to take our attitude elsewhere when showing in person to find our mail. This is a government run facility and it needs to be regulated better.
Gentleman at the counter w/the tattoo was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Very quick process; and my mail is being sent to the right location.
Yet another piece of mail that ended up in the gutter to be run over by cars until it was probably retrieved by a neighbor who kindly slipped it in my mailbox.Have been missing friends' letters, invitations, birthday cards, a work contract, a $1600.00 check and this is for what I was able to piece together. In addition, personnel at this branch is rude and inefficient. Oh yes, and by the way, they deliver other people's mail at my address although the address on the envelope does not match.
Janice at the counter was great. She made sure my daughter and I were satisfied with our mailboxes, she was very helpful! I'm a new resident and impressed with her friendly attitude.
Delivers mail to the wrong addresses. Sends your mail back to the processing plant without your knowledge. One of my neighbors went into the post office and told them nobody at my address has the last name that was on the mail that was sent to THH HE THEIR House instead of mine and all of my mail was getting sent back to the processing plant! Keep in mind, MULTIPLE people live in my home and we all have different last names. They only know the owner of the house last name, so they think that is everyone in the house’s last name. They didn’t even ask for identification, they just took word from someone going into the post office making decisions for my household!
All of these negative reviews are correct! We've lived here for 20 years. We've also lived in multiple locations across the country, and international locations as well with the military using US postal services on location. This is by far the worst branch we've ever encountered, in the country or internationally. The only positive reviews you will see on this site are from a handful of folks who got lucky with one of the "good ones" working there, which are few and far between - or - by someone who works at this branch! We literally have an issue every week. We've gone as paperless as we can, but still some important things like medical bills get mishandled and delivered to other addresses. How do we know? Neighbors as far as an entire street over that's right, an ENTIRE STREET have personally delivered our mail after receiving it at their address. They did not have a similar name, or street, or street number. When they are out delivering, they are usually on the phone, gabbing away, surely paying attention to what they are doing! I'm sure the same level of attention is given while they are "sorting" the mail! We deliver our neighbors' mail on a weekly basis, neighbors from all over our street. Sometimes mail is thrown on the ground within 1 foot of the mailbox which is more often than not left open when it's raining, we've had some soaked letters in our mailbox. Again, there are a few good ones, but relatives who have worked for the USPS elsewhere say we're probably on a "training route", often getting new folks to deliver. So... beware! If it's important, we pay more for using a commercial shipper vs this entity propped up by US taxpayers, or simply go to another branch. It's just not worth the "convenience" going to this branch. If you're new the area, BEWARE! Do you want strangers reading your important mail or documents? Perhaps enjoying gifts or cards meant for you? Go paperless as much as you can! Long gone are the days when you could count on getting your mail...
In the 5 years I’ve lived here, there has been only one regular carrier who has been fantastic, and that’s Joe. If I could rate solely on how awesome Joe was, we’d have a 5 star review! But this is for all the carriers before and after him. To be as brief as possible, the problem list includes mail being lost, delivered to my neighbors on an entirely different street.., packages delivered to other houses, packages being reported delivered then showing up several days later, and having carriers walk through flower beds and landscaping instead of paths, despite lawn signs asking them not to. I might sound like an elderly curmudgeon for that last one, but when you spend money and time to make something nice, it’s pretty disrespectful to have it trampled on. I get delivering mail might be boring sometimes, but I can’t help but think reading an address might be a bit easier if you’re not talking on the phone the whole time.
EDIT: I had a very negative review posted here because one of the carriers from this location has been randomly marking my mail as "undeliverable" even though they were addressed perfectly. Despite the best efforts of the staff at the location, who all have been very friendly and helpful, there still seems to be a bad apple or two who maliciously return my mail to sender. I am in the process of filing an official complaint with the USPS. I've amended my review in the hopes that whoever is messing with my delivery from the South Euclid branch will STOP THIS NONSENSE and deliver my mail as addressed.
I signed up to receive emails letting me know the mail that I am supposed to receive for that day. On June 10, a check was mailed to me. Here it is June 21st and I still didn’t receive my check! Where is my mail going? Ridiculous!
