A big shout out to Jenna for helping me with the passport application and process. I came in very nervous because I had lost my passport and I didn’t have an appointment. But Jenna was super diligent, friendly, informative, and helpful. She took the time to listen to me, did my paperwork really fast, and answered all my questions. She made me feel very comfortable. I expected to wait at the post office for several hours, but she got it done in less than one hour. Super glad that Jenna was the one that handled my paperwork and everything. Keep being the best
I never write reviews but I had such good service at this post office that I'm honestly still thinking about how grateful I am. I was having a horrible time getting a passport after mine got stolen. I booked an appointment elsewhere and the employees were incredibly rude to me and ended up not being able to help me. I went to this post office because they offered walk in appointments for passports. When I got there, I was told by someone at the front counter that the walk in appointments were cancelled for that day because someone called out sick. Nearing the deadline for my passport to arrive in time for a trip, I panicked. The other woman behind the counter must of picked up on this because, despite being incredibly busy and not having any appointments available, she offered to help me. I had what I thought was my birth certificate but it turned out it was only a birth registration so I had to drive to New Jersey to have a new birth certificate printed. She informed me this was something I could do. Knowing that I would have to drive an hour to and from, the woman who helped me said she would keep her window open for me past when she closes out passport appointments. She then gave me her phone number to call or text if I was having any issues. Because of her I was able to get my passport submitted just in time. I'm not sure I've ever experienced customer service this good. She was so kind to help me out despite the hectic day the post office was having. As I was waiting for her to scan my paperwork, I noticed her getting snapped at by an older woman who couldn't understand where her package went. She remained calm and patient with this woman. All around all-star of a woman. I hope she's paid as much as she deserves.
My preferred post office! Sometimes it’s empty, sometimes there are long lines, but the workers always complete what I need quickly and efficiently. Plus, they are helpful and answer any questions I have, especially when I ask them what’s the cheapest option! Will update this review with names so I can give proper credit.
Yes they opened up on time but they don’t have most of the things youll need unless your sending a package. very rude desk clerks and the wait times are long nomatter what you need you will wait
First time going there for my daughter passport application she’s just four months old, the lady named JENA was very friendly and professional. It was a good experience!
I know exactly what/who Sharmaine below is talking about and it does NOT surprise me. That clerk has a serious chip on her shoulder and takes offense easily and often misconstrues what is being said and takes things personally. I had my mail held there and was told that if I came to collect it and still wanted it held I would have to fill out another form. Then I was told I would not have to. She told me the policy is clearly stated on the card...Um...no, it is not. It makes no mention about early pick ups. She got agitated and stated she was being nice in giving me mail ahead of the pick up and that this is what she gets for being nice. Look. I have no idea what the policy is. But I do know I was told contradictory things. I also know that I will comply with whatever is the actually policy. I had to repeatedly ask her how I could have them hold my mail a little longer. She said they would not because I already picked it up. Finally I got through to her and she said I could go online and pay a fee for keeping it a bit longer. She does not communicate well because she is so defensive and thinks she is being attacked. All I was doing was trying to understand the policy and work with her. She was not listening. The rest of the staff is fine and very helpful, esp the guy who has a hearing problem. Props to him!
During 2 visit i have seen three window. in the first window from left there was an male employee who is very polite and fast in customer dealing. After than in the middle window there was an gentle woman who is very crazy and dealing with the customers was not good. But in the 3rd window there was an young woman who deals about passport application who was very polite and cools in dealing. USPS should more careful to post employee in customer care.
Went to mail packages got there 20 minutes before closed and the African American lady with the blonde hair was so irate and annoyed by the time I was at the counter. She got annoyed and started physically shaking the computer with her hands because she was so upset about an address she didn’t understand so I told her I can figure it out for her and she states “we about to close I don’t have time to wait for you to figure it out” she’s horrible. And honestly these reviews don’t do much besides help other customers because the company sure doesn’t even look at them or take them into consideration
This place advertises online & in the lobby that they take passport photos. I waited in a long line only to be told the machine is down & go to CVS or Rite Aid
The worst. Three windows available, only one window open. Eleven people in line waiting.
