Regular mail carrier, Dustin, is great. Replacement mail carrier, hit or miss. My package was delivered to another address about two miles away on 6-19-2023 at about 5 PM. Whoever made delivery was not paying attention to my address clearly shown on the box. Luckily that person was honest and brought my package to me today. Maybe the mail carrier needs to have a literacy test to ensure they can read before starting to deliver mail?
They don't delivery packages, I get that. I can pick it up but what so annoying is they keep saying attempt delivery and you can't even pick up your own packages the same day they attempt to delivery it. Common, the lady in this post office don't even try to double check if my packages was there. So lazy! Just told me that the packages that attempt to delivery will be there later tonight. I doubt that because I picked up my packages before and pick up the same day they attempt to delivery it, other lady assist me that time. As if they really attempt to delivery it Please, if ya'll can't delivery packages that can't fit to mail box just don't try to delivery it. Just leave it in your office! Simple as that!
The packages they deliver to my house- they throw out the window of their vehicle in the dirt even on rainy days- I have a very accessible covered porch-- seen them do this and tried to talk to them about it and they just say I'm not the only one that delivers packages-- tho I just watched YOU throw the package out your window!! Terrible customer service!!
I had a package that was being forwarded due to an error on my part. Called and spoke with Mike who was so helpful. He pulled my package and will deliver it to the original address. So grateful for his help. Now my mother will get her birthday present on time!
So I'm giving this review of five stars because of the end results not the beginning. It started with packages not being delivered while regular mail was. my mailbox is less than the required distance from the house so the packages should have been brought to the house. They were not. I received a slip in the mail saying I couldn't pick them up until the 2nd which is Monday and today is Friday. The packages contained medical devices needed for my grandfather. Something that I need now not in 3 days. The 800 number was terrible they sent me to the wrong local post office even after I told them that that was not our post office. I spoke with that other office and they were wonderful, that was MontalbaTexas. Got a hold of Palestine postmaster Katina, she answered the phone when I called. She was wonderful she got the information she needed from me and told me she'd call me back. honestly with past experiences I did not think I'd get a call back. She called me back within 10 minutes and located my packages, gave me the reason they were not delivered, which was a valid reason. It had to do with a small car and too much mail to be delivered and really big packages needing delivered to me. Katina was wonderful she was able to find my packages for me make it so they were at the front of the office and my husband could pick them up. Normally I have to fight to get my packages if something happens in the process of delivery. This time it was smooth. The fact that the packages weren't put on the car actually made it easier for us because we were able to go get them immediately versus waiting until another day which I could not do. Katina was wonderful and I truly appreciate the fact that she was able to locate find and make it possible for us to pick up the packages today. Thank you Katina!!
Once again, palestine post office has failed me. I ordered something from Amazon with guaranteed next day delivery. They brought me a phone bill, but not my order. I followed tracking all day. First it said out for delivery at 749am. At 554pm it shows delivery attempted, now it shows available for pickup at post office which is now closed for the weekend. This is not the first time our carrier has done this. I was home all day waiting for the item. If he had tried to deliver it, i would have it in my hand. Do your job, or retire and let someone else do it that will actually try.
Oh my goodness! This place was probably the BEST post office I’ve ever been to on my life! Definitely the best one in Texas! The staff was so friendly and helpful! Pam and Leslie were so down to earth and sweet! Feels refreshing to meet genuine good people!
My phone case broke on Friday. I ordered a case on Amazon with 2 day delivery. My item arrived in Palestine and said it was out for delivery on Sunday. I waited patiently for delivery all day. In the afternoon, I received a message from Amazon stating that a delivery attempt had been made. This is a bald faced lie. The number on my house was an exact match to the package. As Monday is Columbus day I will not be able to retrieve my package until Tuesday. So: I paid extra for 2 day shipping and had to spend another $26 for a phone case at Walmart to hold my phone safely until Tuesday. This is not the first time something like this has happened. The postal office really needs to step up their service for those of us on the rural routes.
Horrible. Multiple Amazon packages: Claimed "attempted delivery" and "mailbox full" - yet no attempt was made *we are home all the time being retired and all and the mailbox was empty. Carriers are trying to get rural people to drive into town 14 miles each way to do their job for them, Filing complaint with Post Inspectors - this is BS
I don't kbow why but the service is very rude to me. Ive only been here twice I don't talk to them bad nor am I a bad customer. Just in case all of you ask. Whenever I come'the line seems to be moving quick. They all get customer after customer. But when its my turn they always pause and go to the back and do something else and make me wait. This black chick ,sheila, did a very rude thing while she always assisting me. She brought another customer to where I was to help him out.WHILE I WAS WRITING MY TRACKING NUMBER WHILE SO THAT SHE COULD CHECK THE STATUS FOR MY PACKAGE!!! But she took thr other. Customer at the same time ans went back again doing whatever whatever she needed FOR THE OTHER CUSTOMER. Why do that while she is busy with me but had no problems on making making me wait while I was in the line and she was just in her place shuffling papers and all.
