We recently moved to High Ridge and I started using this post office over Fenton, CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH! Everyone that works there is so helpful & greets you with a smile. I never have to wait in line & appreciate always getting in and out so quickly. Definitely recommend!
Absolutely dread coming to this usps. There hasn’t been a single time the workers don’t give me an attitude, give snarky responses, flat out unhelpful and just want to rush to the next person in line. I rather drive to a different location that’s how bad it is
Register lady unusually quiet. No other noises makes this place seem unnerving at times.
Unfortunately, this is the closet location to where I live. The parking here isn't very convenient. The stalls are small, and I am always concerned someone is going to ding my door. The inside is small, and doesn't have 24 hour stamp kiosk. There is access to the post boxes. You can only visit this location to drop items off. There is no picking anything up. You have to drive to Fenton for that. Don't go there as soon as it opens, there's only one person there and you never know what kind of mood they're going to be in. They get help later in the day. Haven't been a while, so I am not sure what the covid protocol is.
I missed the delivery on a package and went to pick it up at 3:45 on a Friday afternoon, less than two weeks before Christmas - there were 10 people in line already and only one person working!! Of course, she made no attempt to speed up her pace. I knew I should have walked out and scheduled re-delivery but since I was already there... I waited 20 minutes and as soon as I got to the desk and showed the lady my slip she told me my package was at the Fenton office. I checked online before I left to make sure I was going to the correct office the slip did not specify and the last location indicated was High Ridge. I was confused and asked the lady for clarification and she began to get an attitude with me. Once I got home, I called the office and asked to speak to a manager. There was not one present so I asked for the name of the lady at the front desk and she wanted to know who I was. I explained that I was just there and wanted to speak to manager about my interaction with that woman and she got very defensive. I had to ask twice more to get her name - SANDY if that's accurate - because she began to raise her voice again and tell me she didn't do anything wrong. You have been warned. Do not waste your time at this office. They are rude and could care less about good customer service.
I walked in right at closing today. I immediately apologized and I knew she had every right to refuse me. She did not. She was still polite and helpful with all my questions. I did not get her name but the receipt said clerk #5.
11/20/20 My packages were left in my driveway in a misting rain tonight after 6:30 pm. They avoided my ring camera on my porch. So glad we looked out to see if it was raining & saw them there. Doubt they would have been there by morning. If not stolen contents would have been ruined sitting in rain all night.
My problem is not with the people in the post office, it's with the delivery person. I work at night and am home everyday, yet if an item is deemed too large for the mailbox it immediately is taken back to the Fenton post office, no attempt is made to honk their horn and allow me to walk to the road to get the item. Having to drive to Fenton is very inconvenient.
I wish I could remember the rude woman's name. She has been rude for no reason twice to me. The one time she was mad because she was on a personal call and had to hang up because she had to wait on me, the customer.
*Great service & Honor in our community*
