Decent post office. Staff is always nice and helpful.
I take packages to ship every week and I run into a rude employee at least once a week. I know they are super busy, but when I ask a simple question I don’t expect to be snapped at every single time I’m in there. Really unprofessional and will be using a different post office
The staff at the United States Postal Service here in town are wonderful. They are always helpful when we need our mail to be held and such. Of course we adore our mail carrier lady, we don't want to mention her name here without her permission, but she attends church with us in Roseburg. So thank you to all!
The clerks are always friendly even with a waiting line going out the door. They are happy to give me advice on mailing packages. I don't live in the area, but have spent a couple of winters here. I travel full-time and visit many different POs and this one rates as #1 on my list. They are one of the few POs that keep their mailing supplies well stocked.
We moved to Sutherlin last November and they have been a constant problem. We had to pay for new lock on mail box so mail was on hold until that was done. We went to pick up our mail and gave our name they brought us a stack of mail with one of ours on top so we took it but as we started going through it the only one in our name was one on top. Still get old residents mail. Had to send a overnight mail to brother-in-law that is now in Assisded living 640 miles away. It didn't make it in time promised and was told to go to local Post office to get refund. They said they would check on it, then before I got home 3 Miles away they sent a copy and paste response. They didn't even call Post Master in other town to get answers to questions I brought up. Now we put in charge of address for ONLY Brother in law and they sent all our mail to his assisted living where he has no way of mailing it back. Everytime I talk to them There is NEVER a sorry, just make it sound like "no big deal" It is a very big deal !!!! Now for the next year we have to worry if we are getting all our mail. Have 2 friends that retired from USPS in California and they were watched and trained over and over so these things don't happen. I guess not same here.
Mostly a bunch of worthless POS working here. They sent my package back the same day because they said it couldn't be delivered to my address. I went there the same day it was supposed to be delivered to see if they held on to it. They told me to set up general delivery because they cant deliver to my address. I set up general delivery, had the package re-delivered and THEY SENT IT BACK AGAIN. This is the worst PO I've ever had to deal with. The "Postmaster" is fat, lazy and has a s#$% attitude. Thank God I'm moving from this Sh&#hole town.
I ordered something online and had it shipped to my house, I am set up to get alerts when it was delivered and was notified that it was delivered but when I got home, nothing, no package, no notice, nothing. I called the post office the next day and was told that it would be delivered that day, made a special trip to my house to confirm that it was delivered, again nothing. Went to the post office and asked them to check and see where it was delivered, it was sitting at the post office!!! I asked why it had not been delivered and was told that they were not delivering up on our road at this time because of a paving project on the main road some distance from our house, our road is not being paved. I can understand why they are not delivering in the affected area but we are not in the construction area and we were NEVER notified that there was not going to be ant mail service. So much for the mail service and the comment that nothing will stop the US mail. Apparently all it takes is a little bit of road work to bring it to a screeching halt.
The wonderful human behind the counter was very helpful and knowledgeable about her job. I was in and out before I knew it.
Worst service ever..judy at sutherlin post office is rude and unprofessional..sutherlin post master refuses to deliver mail and hung up on me 4 times while trying to find my mail...you need better employees or hire new ones that ate not rude to customer...it is against the federal government to not deliver mail...judy on sutherlin is the worst...
Received notice my general delivery mail was in. Went to the post office, was properly asked for my ID, and then was given my mail. Everything went as expected. Thanks much!
