Taller woman with the blonde curly hair needs to retire. I went in at 10am to ask how to forward my mail and she was immediately hostile towards me. I feel so bad; she is so old and is still working in such an environment. She is clearly unhappy. Please let her retire. They need workers that can handle the job, and maybe then the postal service wouldn’t be so bad.
I wish I was able to leave something lower than a 1 star. Every time I order a package and it's shipped through USPS it always says failed to delivery address or attempted to deliver package when I setting in the living room right next to my door. Which shows me they don't attempt. Then when I brought it up when I had to pick my package up the mail clerk was like oh and changed the topic.
Have been struggling all winter season. At first they weren’t delivering mail due to “names not being posted in mailbox” then it changed to “we won’t deliver packages due to weather or not having a perfectly clear sidewalk” …it’s winter in ND nothing is perfectly clear or Ice free. Everytime staff are notified at post office they have been very rude and passive aggressive in response saying they will “notify the mailman about your concerns” or “we value not only our customers but the safety of our workers” nothing has changed after many complaints. after the last snow we spent extra time chipping away ice chunks, shoveling and putting salt down our concrete is visible and walkable only to receive a package today with this note attached to it. Very rude and unprofessional. Our entire street/sidewalks look the same, it’s inevitable with our weather. Not impressed by the Grand Forks team at all.
The absolute worst post office I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I got a piece of mail sent to my new address within a week of being there; then, a letter from my insurance was returned to sender...by the post office. Why? Because my name wasn't on my mail box. I have NEVER heard of that in my life, in ANY of the dozen cities I've lived in. Pretty sure that the only business of the post is whether the address on the letter or package matches the address where they're delivering the mail. That's it. Besides insurance, they have either delayed or returned to sender: my social security card, court documents, insurance paperwork, probably bills, and i can literally do NOTHING because the answer I got from them was "everything is in order, there's nothing wrong ". The woman at the counter was rude and knew absolutely nothing about procedure and could only parrot back basic information. She was of zero assistance, and she was nasty about it. Did i mention there are several numbers listed for this location and NONE of them are working numbers? I have exactly zero confidence that i will be able to get my mail through this office. I would legit consider moving out of this city SOLELY for this reason.
Sadly, zero stars is not an option. I am a medical traveler and rely on these services to receive things from home. I had so much trouble getting mail at my residence that I got a po box and I still cannot get things delivered. Tracking will say it's been delivered and I will have nothing. The staff does not care at all. They stare blankly or tell the most outrageous lies like how ups doesn't scan each individual package, they just chuck random boxes in a bin. They say a supervisor will call and they never do. You cannot reach anyone by phone. Its been months and I still have 2 missing packages that were Xmas gifts.
Mailman refuses to deliver packages and leaves passive aggressive notes. "the sidewalk will be considered clean when im walking on concrete, thanks". We've been trying to make sure the sidewalk was clean since receiving that note and today, got another note that said "clean your ENTIRE sidewalk, not that hard". After we just shoveled, chipped away ice, made sure concrete was showing, and placed ice melt down. Maybe don't be a mailman in North Dakota then.
I wanted to let you know your driver left their zebra device on our mail box. I tried for 20 minutes to get a hold of someone on the phone as I was on my way to work. I tried calling your grand forks office to be hung up on by your automated system that didn't even give an option to talk to someone. If someone doesn't take it between today and tomorrow they I guess they will see it. Otherwise please fix your phones.
Worst customer service, workers have no courtesy or urgency of time. They are also unable to deliver packages in a timely manner. Have blamed their inability to deliver my packages in a timely manner on a local weather delay when all day they made other mail deliveries. Can’t even take responsibility for their mistakes.
Complete run around. Not able to talk to an actual person. You'd think a small po like this one would be MORE personable, not less. Sad.
I have the worlds creepiest mail carrier. I filled out my Forward of address slip on the Internet like a normal human. I live in six cities. It’s never been an issue before. My mail carrier refuses to deliver my mail because I won’t fill out a slip that they put in my mail box asking again for my personal information. 17th St. And 21st Ave. S Grand Forks. This mail carrier will have their picture taken and posted around the neighborhood as soon as I see them. This is disgusting. And the reason I’m sending my mail somewhere else. Pretty gross I can’t have mail sent to my home. This has also affected my credit score because I haven’t gotten mail in months. Thank god my property tax lady called me to address the issue.
