Horrible delivery I had a package delivered to me and was supposed to be here but got delayed by 2 months causing me to not be able to return it. It was supposed to be for my truck but ended up buying it and shipping through UPS. I would highly recommend UPS before USPS if I could rate 0 stars I would.
The carrier shouldn't have the right to choose what they deliver to your box or not. And they shouldn't sit in their truck and talk on their phone for 5 to 10 minutes before delivering mail after parking to start their route. They should also pay attention to where they are putting people's mail to make sure they are delivering mail to the right address.
Terrible service. Mail not delivered due to a dog being tied securely to a tree, and today because "the front door wasn't accessible". The door is where it has always been. This carrier should quit. She obviously does not care for her job.
Customer service is terrible, they won’t even print you off a label. Aren’t you USPS in the shipping business?
Poor communication, and poor customer service. They care more about keeping money in their pockets, rather than their consumer's experience. I mailed a package internationally for a pretty price tag 10 months later it returned back onto my doorstep with no explanation of why it was returned. I went into the post office to find out more information and they said they didn't know why it was returned. I asked for a refund since the service was not completed and I was told they could not provide a refund and would have the post master look into this further and contact me. Two weeks later and I still didn't have a phone call. I went back in to the post office to follow up and was told she the clerk, not the post master was going to call me but it was 7am and she didn't know if that was too early. I was then given a phone number to call since I had sent it priority mail. I spent 30 min on the phone going around in circles with a phone tree and never connecting with someone that could help me. I called the post office again and requested their assistance in finding out why the package was not delivered, and if I could just have my money back I would be a happy customer. Once again, I was told that it would be looked into further and I would be called back on Wednesday at 1:30pm. The call never came. Friday at 10:00am I called in again. Suddenly, they had a full story of the package and that it has arrived in the country I sent it to and sat in their customs on a specific date, etc. Therefore, they will not refund me. I asked why this information wasn't available a month ago when I first came in. All I was told was, "I don't have an answer for you on that" I worked with the same clerk throughout this entire process even though I requested to speak with the Post Master. Each time I requested this the post master just happen to always be out of the office. Extremely frustrating and disappointing. At this point, I will exhaust every option before I patron the USPS. Had they just refunded the cost of this package I would have been disappointed that my package was not delivered, but I would have still used this service knowing they care about their consumer's and their experience.
The people who work the counter were incredible and very professional
Most of the people inside the post office are very pleasant and helpful, but when it comes to the postal carriers watch out! Me personally oh, I have had nothing but problems with my postal carrier and they have done nothing about it! I have even gotten to the point where I have had to contact the police department about her entering my garage when I was not home to place a package inside on a bright sunny day after she was specifically told to place the packages on my front step. I have had to complain about my postal carrier more than several times and the people at the post office have done nothing about it except for give her a slap on the hand. Each time I talked to the same "supervisors" and I was told, "Don't worry, all of us supervisors know what is going on." I happened to actually catch the Postmaster one day and I explained the entire situation; turns out that was the first she had heard of anything.
Y'all should learn how to check all mailboxes even if there isn't mail for that house. Cause some people put mail in there boxes to be sent to people like now it has to wait til Sunday to fully get sent out just wasted a whole day y'all fail at your guys jobs and charge me 60$ to change my address also lost my stimulus check a good while back y'all obviously don't know what your doing should get new jobs thanks bye.
Ups delivered my package by accident there. I went to get it and was told I could not because they were short staffed. I was not leaving till I got my package and then they called the cops.Funny how they had no time yet both tellers walked away for 20mins huh.The officer told them the are to have my package in the morning. Then after that I go there in the morning to get my package and they charged me 18 dollars to hand it to me over the counter.. They are nothing but rude c###s and should be embarrassed at how they treat people and then steal from them shame on you...
The clerks are friendly always. However, Tuesday, Instead of using UPS, we shipped a package via Overnight guaranteed by noon the next day. Unfortunately it didn't get delivered. We had until 1:30 the NEXT day after it should have arrived. We went to our local post office and even the clerk was surprised to find out that guaranteed next day has a clause in small print on ONLY HER copy that says it MIGHT not get there til noon the 2nd day! Our copy of paperwork does not say that. Tracking showed it still sitting in Atlanta and had not moved since 7:30 the day before. WE still had time to alert them and get it delivered but the clerk couldn't do anything about it. We had to talk to the Postmaster. But the postmaster was leaving for a meeting and couldn't help us. We called the USPS 800 # and got put on hold. Still on hold and it has been 3 HOURS! Also went back to the post office 2 hours after first visit to see if Postmaster was there and she wasn't. So, our customer did not get the package in time for an event, noone at the 800# has answered the phone yet thought I'd leave it on all day and see if anyone EVER comes to the phone, and noone at the local office can help either. No ACTUAL business could survive with such poor service. Usually we ship by UPS but lately have been trying USPS more often. They just lost any chance that we would ship with them for anything that matters in the future.
