Horrible horrible post office!!! Try calling there sometime and see if you get through! It’s certainly hit or miss with this post office and MOSTLY miss!!! I’ve had so many packages misplaced, lost, put in the wrong box over the last few years, it’s endless! Additionally, if something gets shipped via USPS vs UPS or FedEx, you can bet your life it will take an extra 2-5 days to get to you. Example: packages routed to the Allentown location then go to Philadelphia and then back up to Quakertown. How crazy is that?? When I do have to go into the Post Office to pick up a package that was supposed to be delivered to my mailbox and it happens more than I care to recall, the employees working there MOST not all, have an attitude and a “could care less” disposition! Rude rude rude!!! I just don’t have too many good things to say about this post office!! I thought I was the one paying for their services and not the other way around!! Just extremely disappointed and that’s putting in mildly!!
Paid $9.65 for Priority Mail service which includes tracking. 7 days later, the letter was not delivered and the online tracking only said that it had left the facility 7 days ago and was delayed and “moving through network.” I went back to this post office to nicely inquire about the status and where the package was and the woman at the counter was INCREDIBLY RUDE. She started to berate me for even asking the question and saying that it was my fault because I should have used Express mail! Unbelievable! She started giving me all these excuses for why it is delayed. Finally, when she realized that the package hadn’t even been delivered to the distribution center in Philly after 7 days and that in fact she had no idea where the package was, she snapped again at me and told me to talk to the supervisor. Just crazy that I was made to feel like I was somehow at fault or was unreasonable for asking the questions. I talked to the supervisor who was much more understanding and helpful. Though the package is still lost! Priority mail seems like a scam. The tracking is useless because they have no idea where my package is. Will only go to the post office in Trumbauersville from now on. Service there is much, much better.
A very easy, swift experience getting a new adult passport at the post office. The receptionist was friendly and greeted me with a smile. Tom I think was his name? took care of my application as well as the photo. Told us that the expedited passport application will be sent with priority mail on the same day which was reassuring especially when I’m running in a tight schedule. He knew what he was doing and put my mind at ease even providing myself and my father with information, contact info, and procedure should everything go wrong with the passport as well as my travels. Don’t understand the negative reviews.
I think these people don’t really care about much of anything. I get the impression they are just going through the motions here. It took longer than it should have to get my package that I had shipped to this location and they are clueless as to why it’s taking this long. They need better employees.
I had the worst experience in a post office today Saturday May 20, 2023. Arrived at 2:20pm and the lady was so rude and so unprofessional. Making me look stupid for simple questions like express mail and she kept repeating she is closing and on my watch it was 2:40 when I was finishing my mails. 3PM is not 2pm and if you do not like your work or are racist, please stay home. Our fees and taxes pay your salary. Quakertown community and surroundings deserve way better. Other same after me and she was all smiles with them.
Aged blonde woman working at the desk is just nasty. I dealt with her once during the fall in 2022 when she simply refused to help me. My experience was so bad I avoided that post office until April 2023 when I was in a hurry and hoped she would be long gone. But, oh my word, she is still there. I got stuck with her again. She refused to give me the service I requested and I’m thoroughly disgusted. It’s Richlandtown, Zion Hill, or Coopersburg for me if I need customer service.
I recieved exceptional customer service with professionalism & enthusiasm easily bypassing my expectations. The office is orderly & the building is also in a nice location with plenty of safe off-street parking.
Big guy Tom is full-on customer service, despite this being the dreaded USPS! Helped me get my passport processed smooth and painlessly. Thanks guy
The associate Tom saved my trip by quickly helping me get a passport application in! He was kind, knowledgeable, and efficient!
Post Office didnt have any money so unable to cash postal money order. How are you a post office without money. Yet another example of the ineptitude of a federally run place.
