All it takes is the kindness of a stranger. I walked in and was greeted by Cedric. I told him I had boxes that were extremely cumbersome. I have an injury that prevents me from lifting most heavy items. This time, I had 5 of them! I honestly dreaded his answer but was immediately put at ease when he so kindly said, "I got you!" He grabbed a cart and walked with me out to my vehicle and unloaded the boxes and took them in. He didn't have to....but he did. If you ever meet Cedric, this kind stranger....tell him the lady who was hit by a ski boat sent ya. I'd rather go to this post office than deal with my own 40 minutes away. Kindness goes a LONG way these days. You could literally make someone's day. All it takes...is the kindness of a stranger.
Typically government offices are terrible. But today I had a great experience here thanks to Donnie. He gave me an excellent customer service and made an already difficult day and situation a much lighter and easier one. People don’t know what some people may be experiencing and what the effects of just a little bit of kindness and a courteous smile can do. Thank you Donnie, hopefully they will hire and train more people to be just like you.
Whoever you had on yalls route to Sterling Shores in Destin FL today at 4:15PM, TERRIBLE. I know its sunday and our facility is a little packed due to the busy 4th of july weekend but he needs a better attitude. Im not sure if he's just having a bad day or what, but i didnt deserve the attitude from him for something that i can not control. I hope his day gets better!!
I have been using this location for my needs for 20 years. I understand frustration when customers have to stand in line and through improper planning on their part, it takes longer than you want it to or think it should. BUT I have never been treated with anything but kindness and polite concern for assisting me from any employee. They appear to be understaffed but I give kudos to the ones who are there as they do a great job!
The only reason I'm leaving one star is because I have to. Delivered a gallon of cherries today that were wrapped inside a garbage bag and completely destroyed. And they wonder why they are going bankrupt.
Very nice people and will do everything to help you out. I had packages shipped by mistake to my old address and Lory at this post office helped me a lot , she found it shipped it to my correct current address and even called me for updates. That’s is what I call exceptional customer service !
Just horrible service. The lady that works there with the short brown hair is the worst. My label needed to be taped to my package, would literally be one strip of packing tape. Nope, she told me no and said I would have to buy a roll for $4 as she rolled her eyes. Went right across the street to UPS and they did it with no problem and with a smile. And shipping was only $1.10 more. Will be doing all my shipping with UPS from now on.
if you can avoid it. DONT COME HERE. the office people who set up your packages to be shipped are the rudest people i have ever met. Specifically the girl with the really short haircut that looks like the wicked witch of the west. She was extreamly rude. i watched an older couple go up and of course they are a bit slower and she just seemed annoyed with them, they asked little questions like what was on the christmas stamps and she with a huge attitude said ELVES and kept rolling her eyes and smacking. My experience was about the same. it's my first time shipping a package and she made me feel stupid. after waiting in line with a box as big as me for 15 minutes i get up there and she rudely tells me i need to move to the side until i write the addresses i had on a paper on the box. i try to go up after the finishes the customer after me he's getting his receipt as i walk up and she tells me i need to move until she's finished. from then on it was just an uncomfortable and horrible experience. she was rude to everyone and needs to be fired. she is conceded and needs to be humbled. i was literally on the verge of tears.
Was given advice on how to re-send a small package. Only to get back in line and be told by the other clerk that it will most probably be sent back to me the way I was advised to do it. Got back out of line to correct the packaging only to hear the blonde female clerk walk up behind the male clerk and say a smart comment about me. She was absolutely rude when it came to checking out. Her customer service was appalling and I will absolutely be avoiding usps at any expense. Bottom of my receipt says Clerk 78.
In town for my wedding and had to order packages last minute. I couldn’t ship to my condo so I shipped everything here. They were so helpful and accommodating. Donny is the best!
