Constantly having issues with even receiving my mail. No matter what is said to me or promises of it getting better I still have to come into the post office to get things that should be delivered to my home. The constant lie about my driveway being blocked is getting ridiculous every other mail carrier brings my packages up here and yest USPS can't for some reason? My medicine is constantly stuck at the post office from Saturday and Sunday because my mail man refuses to bring it up. This is medicine that needs to be refrigerated! Ridiculous
The laziest post office workers I've ever had the displeasure of trying to work with tbh. They throw our packages over our fence in the rain because they can't be bothered to come in the gate. They won't even do the bare minimum and print out shipping labels for you. Things will get shipped to the post office from across the country in 3 days but the Shelton post office will take over a week just to get them to my house a mile away after that. They also bent my college degree in half and shoved it in the mailbox despite the sticker saying not to bend it. Completely useless employees.
The Asian gentleman I’m so sorry I forgot your name is always very kind and helpful, however the lady named Judy is extremely disrespectful. I asked to use the restrooms after I sent out a package and was escorted to the back area to use them. I thanked the Asian gentleman and Judy. I got no response from Judy, only death glares. After I was done, I kindly thanked her again only to receive more glares from her. I shouldn’t have to feel like I did something wrong by using the restrooms in a facility that is paid for by taxpayers! Remember, Judy, us taxpayers are the reason you have a job and food in your mouth! Show some respect!
Another dissatisfied customer. Got a notice like others have received stating that the driveway was inaccessible. It is not. No gate, car, or other obstruction. Sheer laziness by an inept public "servant" that it takes an act of congress to get rid of.
The rudest lady answers the phones down there I believe she said her name was Judy or Jody. This woman needs some serious customer service training before being allowed to speak to customers. I simply asked if my dad could pick up my packages she asked if my address was on his driver's license I said no. Then she said well it would be better if it was ...? So I asked again he can't pick it up then? To which she responded that would be the correct assumption. Like how rude can you possibly be??? Find a new job or fix your whole attitude. Funny because every time I've called in the past everyone has been so nice.
Excellent service, packages are always on time and never damaged. Postal workers are always kind even with the long hours and stressful days
This post office is a nightmare beyond believe. Trying to get my mail for the last two years through them and over and over they say I'm not deliverable, or not home, once they said I moved and left no forwarding address! Another time they said my house was inaccessible, when I have no fence or gate, just a flat driveway right to my door. I am retired and home most days. When you pay extra for prime delivery it would be great if these guys would do their jobs.
Call the post office in Shelton this morning at a lady name Judy or Jody answered The phone wasn’t very helpful at all. We’re not receiving our mail out of eight houses because somebody’s dogs are chasing The P.O. truck have not received any mail for days now l. yes we’ve had snow and yes we’ve got ice but when I looked at a package through my tracking, it said something about dogs chasing the truckor something. although we all have dogs, but we’re all getting punished for it . I would like to know what house that would be at so if it’s our dog going outside which I doubt because we’re home all the time would like to know if there’s something I can do to help these people or let’s get these people who who are guilty get their dogs taken care of so we can get our darn mail!! I don’t want them to getbit either!! Let’s get take care of this problem so all the rest of the people on this street can get their mail!!!
Long story.... you'll never find worse service...anywhere...!!! Actual, proper, mail service, yeah....DON'T count on it. Some carriers are creepier than others... rude office employees.. If you want ANY service.... you will be forced, to accept the BS service......pathetic.
I got a notification that my package could not be delivered because my driveway was obstructed. There is NOTHING in the way. No snow, ice, branches... all perfectly clear. They have done this multiple times!
