This is the first time I’ve written a negative review of a place of business. I want to celebrate the businesses I have positive experiences and let the reviews of others share about the negative experiences. I need to speak up in this situation however. Its been years since I shipped a package from the post office. I usually go to my local UPS store. When I bring a box that just needs to be taped over the top, they supply me with it. When I bring in the label, they put it in a plastic sleeve and affix it to the package. I didn’t realize that USPS locations or at least this one—I assume it’s a general policy though do none of these things, even when I can see a tape dispenser a few feet away from the register. I was told you have to pay for Priority to get the privilege. The option I was given was to buy a small roll from them for $3.99. Otherwise I was out of luck. Since I was paying out of pocket for a return that was only worth & $20 more than the shipping, I decided to take the package with me and bring it back taped. When I brought it back without the label affixed I was told they don’t provide sleeves, and that I had to affix it myself with my own tape or buy the $4 roll from them. Maybe they provide those with Priority shipping as well? Anyway, I brought the package back a 3rd time, fully taped, and was ready to pay. I calculated shipping online and the representative initially provided the same number. I was getting ready to pay and then saw it was twice as much as the screen showed before. I asked why and was told she re-measured it and that’s why it was more. This was only $7 less than what I paid for the item that was being shipped back to the store, so I left with my box that I had brought back for the 3rd time. Why 2 stars you ask? I get that this is policy. I assume others have taken advantage of the goodwill of the post office in the past. I don’t blame the representative. She was indifferent but at least cordial. I wish that they would have been willing to make an exception given I clearly didn’t know policy, especially with the 2nd time I brought the package back without the label affixed. I take responsibility for not looking carefully at all the post office policies beforehand, but I’m still disappointed. And hence, writing my first negative review.
The lovely ladies that work here are amazing and I hate that they get blamed for local deliveries ground deliveries to your home when that is the Pasco post office. The ladies that work here are always kind and helpful and do outstanding service thank you for being at work everyday. You are appreciated.
Package wasn’t delivered and was left a slip with no reason why marked on there. Rescheduled a delivery and it wasn’t delivered again even though we had two mail trucks come on our street today. Usps and Fedex are the absolute worst. Use UPS if you can.
Wow, so where do I start? All the mail men and women that work here are always so kind and helpful. I was just in here having to return a package that I've never done before, and the lady was very helpful it was either clerk 6 or clerk 17 according to my receipts they where both very help and made things so easy so thank you!
beware of a thief make sure your packages are scaned in and you get a recipe befor you leave them i was taken for over $100 i put the items in a secured lock box inside the post office but did not scan them and the next day they were gone A shipping label has been prepared for your item at 10:01 am on February 19, 2023 in KENNEWICK, WA 99336. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. still to this day 3/13/2023
Love this location, the ladys that work the front are fast and helpful, I show up several times a week with loads of packages to ship and have never had any issues. The negative reviews about having to buy tape are stupid. There is a big sign saying they dont provide tape...and that you have to purchase it. It's not their fault you weren't prepared, it's like buying lunch meat and expecting the grocery store to give you the bread for free.
No pickup on a day that I have a scheduled pickup for outgoing packages. What’s going on over there??
They delivered my package to a different address and won't retrieve package to deliver it to me. Do not use them if you can avoid it.
Around 230pm in Kennewick, Mail lady just threw my package at my door. Package says to handle with care and leave right side up, it’s a small box with heavy materials in it. We live upstairs and the package is heavy. So it shook the complex a little. For safety precautions, she should have handled with care regardless. I wouldn’t have been upset if it wasn’t an important package, but with all the precautions and warning labels on the package, you’d think they would care. My package could’ve exploded at my door, or even worse when i open it up inside my apartment. PLEASE FIX IT.
Didn't get my package due to "not being able to access my location", is a lie! I waited all afternoon, there was nobody that was here to even block access to driveway!! Said they would attempt delivery the next day, no attempt was ever made, I had to call Amazon and the USPS customer service, and they showed no attempt was made the following day like they said. She had to put in a request to have it redelivered. This is unacceptable and not the only time it has happened !! This postal service had gone downhill, they don't care about customers like they used to!!
