Over a month ago, my brand new community mail boxes were broken.still they didn’t fix yet So I need to go to usps for picking up mails. It is very annoying and inconvenient. I had a horrible experience yesterday with two female clerks who were very rude to a customer. First clerk who is on the end of right side counter asked me to show ID, but I didn’t bring it because I learned it from a couple of former experiences. they gave me with only mentioning my address somehow before. I know other neighbors got mails without ID. And even my neighbor got my mails for me 2 weeks ago. Of course I didn’t give her my ID or anything. They just gave my mails to some else my neighbor. Even though I asked her to do it if possible or not. That worked. How this is possible! They didn’t check Id before and now they check. No rules. Every clerks work differently. Keep changing their words. That was what I felt before at usps. But I understand it has to be checked before too. They must check Id. I agree. Somehow they didn’t check Id for giving mails, means they didn’t work properly then that is their issue. My point is not only checking ID. The female clerk said we need your ID, do you remember who gave you mails without ID, I pointed the another clerk next to the blue doorthe first counter from the left. Then “go to her and ask your mails” So rude! Two clerks asked and answer loudly in front of everyone, A asked to B hey, did you give her mails without ID? And B said immediately no I never give them without checking ID. Of course she had to say no if she is not stupid. It is such a comedy show. Then she even said that oh maybe there is another asian girl. She tried to toss the issue to her coworker?? Crazy! Even the clerk kept saying “listen!” Do you think I should give mails if anybody came with just address? That is exactly what I want to ask them why did other clerk gave me without Id then?? Why did one of clerks gave my mails to my neighbor without Id? The way she spoke to me is extremely rude. It was obviously insulting. Even she complained to me het job. “You know this is not my job, but I am helping them when they are busy” Why is she complaining her work and job position to a customer?? That is not my business. She should tell to USPS. How am I supposed to know that is her extra work or something that I appreciate it??? Ridiculous. Then she pointed a guy that I can talk with. He seemed his is a postmaster. He gave me my mails after checked costco mobile card. Poor old ladies. They don’t know how to communicate with customers. Just try to hide their faults. Checking ID? Of course I understand and I could’ve just left and come again next day, that was not a problem. The big problem is the workers behavior, rude attitude, poor communication, and non professionalism. Very sad. If our community mail box was not broken, I had no reason to go to USPS. Please fix them soon.
Customer service is poor with one particular clerk at front desk unusually rude. If I have to go to her it is as treadfull as going to the dentist. She either needs to retire or get out of a customer service job. When I ask her to see different stamps she acts like she can't be bothered. Trying to call the local office is just as bad. The phone just rings and rings. The local office rating is -4 star. Mail delivery gets a 5 star...with overall rating 1 star. This place needs audit.
I find the cashiers at Clovis to be extremely helpful, kind, and willing to go above and beyond to assist you. You just need to be patient and understanding until it is your turn.
Mail doesn’t get delivered. Shows I should have medications delivered for 3 days now. Still no mail. People at post office say they never got it. Yet there site says it was out for delivery. Never ship anything with USPS they are terrible.
Sandra was amazing with helping find a package that should have been overnighted. I've dealt with other post offices in WA and never felt like things were going to be taken care of. She called twice just to keep me updated even though the check wasn't in her location. She contacted another location where is was just to try and figure things out. I came in once I saw it arrived at the Clovis location to try and get it but they got it sent out right away. I did request a refund and Ron helped with that. Even though I didn't have a receipt he did what he could to find it and helped get it taken care of. Definitely one of the best post offices I've ever had to deal with!! They should train the others!
Everytime I go there it's a quick and pleasant experience. The works are always so helpful and polite even when they are super busy. This is the best post office I have visited in Fresno/Clovis area
Depending on the time, line can get long but then someone will come out and ask those in line what they need and direct them to either the kiosk or pick up door, and answer their questions. Lots of new keyed parcel boxes for after hour pick up of smaller packages for PO Box renters. Employees are always friendly and helpful and move the line along quickly without being pushy to rush you. USPS still a great bargain to deliver a letter across the country or across town for less than 60 cents! Can't even drive around the block for that with current fuel prices. Their postman that deliver to the house have always been nice.
Had to recognize their efforts because I usually avoid the post office if I can. Today, postmaster I didn’t know he was but asked the counter afterward came out and asked people in line if they had any questions. He spoke to the first, directed the second to the separate delivery counter, and then actually prepared my two labels for the certified mail receipt envelope. There was a line but it moved quickly thanks to this kind of attention and service, especially with the holidays fast approaching. At the counter, the postal worker was just as courteous and efficient, asking me to confirm the address and then handing me the receipt. The only improvement I saw that they might consider was the credit card reader/terminal; slower than other places but not a showstopper. Great to see this change in leadership and service. Thank you and Happy Holidays.
This is the second package that says delivered that was not put in my box. It’s so frustrating. I think it was put in another persons mailbox I live in an apartment but you would think they double check. Update: I was able to get in contact with Ron at the post office. He was very nice and even though they put my items in the wrong box for the third time Ron personally checked the boxes and moved it to the right one even though it was not his route. So I’m hoping for future deliveries this will be corrected.
Came in with my item and click n ship label and looked for the mailer envelope I paid for, but couldn’t find any. Whenever I’m at another location and this happens, I’ll just take my items to the counter and ask if they have the envelope I’m looking for, and then they’ll attach the label for me and ship it. When I asked the woman at the counter if they had the mailer, she said it would be better to come inside for the whole process instead of doing it online, since they run out of these envelopes, and then she told me that it would be better to have my entire package assembled and ready with the label attached because “we’re not full service”. I understand it’s a busy time and I don’t expect everything to be done for me, but it was embarrassing to be talked to like that in front of a full lobby when all she did was tape the label to the front of the envelope for me. Won’t be back. :/
