Submitted a change of address form for my family, took a photo of everything I submitted to verify it was wrong. The representative at the desk told us we were all set and she would enter it into the system. We didn’t receive mail for months come to find out they entered the address wrong, thankfully the residents of that address drove over to hand us our mail
Around 4:00 today, Thursday February 2, I stopped in to the North Olmsted USPS to mail a package. I was initially, unintentionally curt with the postal worker helping me due to my own labeling error on the package. I appreciated her candor and patience with me and we were quickly having pleasant conversation while she clarified some questions I had as she processed my delivery. It is often too easy to be curt with customer service workers. Though I did not get her name, I wanted to take a moment to thank her for her professionalism, subtly reminding her customer that she is part of my customer service process too. Keep up the great work. Thank you!
The worst USPS in this country. Let's start with the fact that one of the postal workers was found to be stealing people's mail and Christmas cards. The 24 hr self service machine is broken more often than a McDonald's ice cream machine. Seriously how this can be down so much amazes me. Next issue is the package box inside thats always jammed. The fact that its noted as a 24 hr self service is a joke. The staff inside are rude and unhelpful. The hours are pathetic for a large city. Honestly this location needs the staff to be replaced entirety.
They’re terrible! My mail person is amazing, but the subs…so lazy! Then you call and get complete rudeness!
Terrible service. I’m at the point when I’m about to stop purchasing products that get shipped USPS. Lousy customer service. I see so many packages come from east coast and end up in Chicago first before ending up back here. Wasteful. Their driver damaged my mailbox and of course they are not accountable on any level. 3,2 stars is definitely too high of a rating for them.
The service was cold and the person on the other end seemed irritated. I was not able to get straight answers for my basic queries.
I think the people there are very nice and work hard to keep the line going!
Today I went to the North Olmsted post office and they were supposed To be open at 9am. They were not. I knocked on the door and rang the bell and no one came. Another patron called them and they said they will open at 930. Welp, 930 came and went. I left at 945 without my package being mailed. There were so many people there and the employees did not care.
I know, despite its beloved reputation as a hallmark of American government—let’s face it—the USPS does not have a good reputation when it comes to customer service. I’ll refrain from listing off previous experiences and stick with a more positive one. That said, however, I at least have to describe how truly a abysmal of a time I was having on a day in mid-March while trying to send a package. Not one but two offices would refuse to send my item a day before an arbitrary, mind you date was posted on the pre-paid shipping label I was given. All this despite the go-ahead from a postmaster when I called a different location he conveniently happened to be out when I stopped in. I digress, all this led me to North Olmsted. Praise be. I think Patrick at this location is just absolutely wonderful—a true gem of the service. Friendly, considerate, caring—he lives up to the old adage about “rain, sleet, snow etc etc” you get it. Goodness, what a great guy—made sure my package was sent and sorted. Pat, if you ever read this, it worked! Thanks again. Oh and the woman working the counter when I stopped by was super nice too. Cannot remember her name but also great. Look, if you’re sending mail in the area, do it from here. It’ll get there, and with a smile too. What more could you ask for?
I've never had any issues here. I have seen several complaints of unprofessionalism, slow service, etc. However, I have been treated with respect each time I have gone inside. There is a blonde woman behind the counter who has been exceptionally professional every time my wife and I have visited. There is a drop box inside for larger packages that remains accessible after closing hours.
