Do you all actually work? And if you do what do you do because it is not delivering mail! How is it that I can track a package that is out for delivery at 7:38 am never gets delivered and makes it’s way back to the post office by 2:38 pm without even a stop at the address it is supposed to be delivered to. I know this because there was NO notice left, saying “I’m to lazy to do my job, but now you get to do it!” Because now we have to go to the post office to pick the package we paid to have delivered. Any other place you pay for a service they at least try to make it right when they mess up, a government agency that is the BIGGEST joke of them all. They truly could care less about any of us. But will cry about going out of business. I say let Amazon deliver our mail, at least there would be ACCOUNTABILITY, something USPS and our Government no NOTHING about. Come on, DO BETTER!!
My package has been sitting at the post office since august 31st with no updates ups delivered it there for usps to deliver it but they haven't delivered it yet and I can't get nobody on the phone horrible service
They lost my package and did nothing to help after multiple emails and a visit to the post office. DO NOT ship anything to Starkville especially if you’re a broke college student, just wait to go home for a weekend and ship it there. This is a horrible post office with awful customer service. I’d give 0 stars if I could.
Super lazy and unprofessional. Do not ship anything that costs money or cost to ship with Starkville usps. Lived there my entire life, used to have a mail box but people tend to mess with them and the mail inside so P.O. Box was preferred, for over 50 years it is a valid marked address, and this year miraculously it is undeliverable and just don’t know why. Not an address? There is literally a P.O. Box registered to the address inside the very building saying it’s not an address. And due to the lack of communication from the post office no refund on Christmas gifts from seller. Will never recommend usps again, especially not in Starkville. Waste of time and money.
This is a usps box full of undelivered mail left on the street. Tried to call the post office, no answer. I guess this is why im missing mail and packages. Hope no one has any checks or cards in there because it'll 100% get stolen overnight. Absolutely horrible behavior from Starkville USPS.
Great service. The employees here are generally very friendly. Sometimes they go out of their way to help you which is normally not seen jn a regular usps. There is normally a line after 4pm. They have good special processes on envelopes and stamps as well.
I have had several packages stolen, over 4 with no trace as to where the contents have gone, just an empty box or package. I called the post office and they said one was damaged. They were supposed to get back to me after they searched the damaged items and return my call. I never received a call back, so I went up there. The post mater said they couldn't find the damaged package and there was nothing to be done. So I opened a complaint on the official USPS page about this branch. We also had mail delivered wrong for months. We would receive others mail who were not even on our road and many others received ours. I started gathering every item sent wrong and by the end of the month we had 23 pieces of mail that wasn't ours. Our complaints to the post master have gone unanswered. VERY disappointed in this particular branch. It desperately needs NEW management.
I received a notification that my package was not delivered due to my driveway or front way not being accessible. I live at the end of a church parking lot that had no cars in it at the time of stated attempted delivery. The package was to be delivered on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and the postal worker obviously had other things to do than deliver packages.
If you put a package in the inside drop box after hours, it has a very good chance of sitting there for a couple of days and/or being shipped off to the wrong area. Most of the clerks are sub-par and don't care. I understand it can be a grind with difficult people but this is by no means a busy post office. They keep mis-delivering my in-laws packages because addresses are similar in the north and south end of their street. You try to talk to them about it, they said they spoke with the driver and they were being delivered accurately. Of course the driver would say that, and which driver did you ask because it's always a different driver every week. That was 3 or 4 years ago and they still screw it up. Apparently an apartment complex and a residential house are the same thing.
If I could give 0 Stars I would. We have lived here for over 3 years. I have had to call this post office 20x about missing packages. She keeps delivering the package to the wrong address. First time I called I was told she read the wrong "A" street name meaning she delivered it to the street next to us. Our post lady is lazy. Can't ever close the mail box. She puts packages in the mail box that stick out the end of the mail box and it got wet and ruined. Same thing with letters. I have had very important paper work get wet because she wont close the mail box. We have fixed the mail box a few times and when we do she just breaks it again by slamming it shut or she doesn't shut it at all. Even peoples mail boxes that are fixed in the neighborhood she doesn't close or she just slams them shut and breaks them. God forbid if it is raining you will not get your package that day either, because she is lazy and doesn't want to get out. She doesn't scan the packages when she drops them off either so you never know if she dropped it off at the wrong place again or not. They don't get scanned in saying delivered until like 5-6 at night. That isn't how it is meant to be. IF you read this LEARN TO DO YOUR JOB!!! It isn't that hard to do it correctly and if it is then you need to find a different one where peoples sensitive mail isn't relied on by you. Have pride in your work!!! ~A fed up customer!!!
