Amazing employees who are fast, attentive, and patient. People aka Karens who whine and complain will be sorry if FedEx or UPS takeover because for them, it's all about profit. United States Postal Service workers are the consummate professionals!!! Thank you!!! P.S. My only recommendation is to replace Louis Dejoy and his XPO Logistics.
This is the worst post office I have ever experienced with. I have never had any issues with any other post office, ever, until I moved to my current location. I had a small package that was marked delivered to my address and I never received it. I opened a case for them to look for my package. It took them 6 days for them to call me regarding my package just for them to tell me that there was a new person running the route that day, and they will have a mail person go back to check the cluster mailbox to see if was in the wrong box; 6 days later! Then they told me that they are closing the case because it was time sensitive and they will call me back on Monday. Two weeks later, I never received a phone call. I check my informed delivery and the status of my item says disposed by the post office. What? Really? You disposed an non disposable item instead of trying to redeliver my package? What's really going on over there? And this is one of many missing mail I have never received. This post office needs to be investigated asap because they stole my package. They told way too many lies, that I have recorded, that made it clear it was stolen by their workers.
I've been using this location for over 2 years now. The packages I bring are already paid so just drop of and get a receipt from them. The las time I dropped off I left it there for it to be processed without me being present, for a 3 medium shirts package they charge an additional $39 for an already paid stamp. It's happened a few times when the package are dropped off. Just wait for your receipt to make sure.
By far the most disrespectful, condescending, incompetent staff of any post office I have ever been too. They first failed to submit information for a stolen/undelivered package. I waiting 7 months to receive a notice from them. When I went back there was no record of anything and I couldn’t get my refund. Their mail pick up clerk literally said she will refuse to do her job until 9am when hours clearly state they open at 8:30
I wish this post office would deliver mail to the right address. Mail goes 2 blocks over to 10 blocks over or is overlooked all together. Plus always getting someone else's mail.
Melody is one of the most helpful clerks Ive ever met working for USPS. The Parkland location has kind employees who are very good at explaining the mail processes. I never assume a business can do anything because ALL including the Post Office have required processes & regulations they must follow. My spouse has been shipping different sized items he sells randomly online. Melody knows the rules and has been very good at helping us insure items arrive in the timeframe we need without issues like damage or customs problems. She has kept us from experiencing misshipments by pointing out address errors that our buyers may have given us as well. We greatly appreciate her kindness and excellent work ethic!!
As someone who works for the public, I completely understand how frustrating it can be to have to deal with customers who are angry or upset. Though I also understand that working with the public is my job, thus we must endure. This post office does not even attempt to give two care about anyone but their paychecks. It is very disappointing that they seem to not care or maybe they just gave up and this is the result. I have found that even though I ensure to be there upon my deliveries and have my gate open, they still keep telling me that my home has no safe space for delivery. My house is one level. The fence is open and today I was there outside talking with this person and they still wouldn't give me my package. What more do I need to do ? hold a sign asking for my package? there is no point in making a complaint, they won't do anything to change that behavior. I feel ignored, defeated and upset that these people treat not just me this way but I've seen them in the post office treat others just as little as they have treated my family. I couldn't fathom having a job if I talked to them like this or treated them in such a way as to make them feel less than. The bottom line is that this post office needs to change drastically.
Go to check my mail today, and theres a letter in there and I see the latch for the lock is broken off, yet nothing has been said to me and delivery driver apparently just put more mail in there today. How hard is it to give a courtesy call seeing that you can't lock the mailbox? Theres also been a mailbox right up the road that has been on the ground from getting hit for months and nothing has been done to replace that.
My neighborhood has community mailboxes. When checking my mail today the carrier left the mailboxes wide open! Tried for an hour to reach someone at the Parkland branch to report. No one answers the phone!
For waaay better service, go to the UPS store inside the Ace Hardware off of 112th. If I could give negative zero stars, I would. I was just there at 11:50 am to drop off a box to ship from my husband's baseball card memobillia business. This very heavy set female worker with shoulder length straight hair with glasses proceeds to "help" me after I politely ask if I can leave an already labelled package here with her because there is no bin to set it in. She says yes, then rudely asks me what's in the package. I say, "baseball cards". Then she proceeds to tell me that the contents of my box is fraudulent and my label is wrong. The label is printed through Ebay, and she tells me that that's impossible because Ebay doesn't do that? Obviously they do or the label wouldn't exist! These people that they have working here are ridiculous, and RUDE! Her own coworkers were even confused by her behavior. This place will never get my business again. Use the family owned UPS store at the Ace Hardware on 112th to drop off all your mail, at least they are nice people who treat their customers with respect.
