Sent a Priority Mail envelope to my son and marked it hold for pickup. Received a tracking email 3 days after it arrived stating they were sending it back due to no pickup for over 15 days. Hour later I received another tracking update saying they were sending back for incorrect address. Checked my USPS online account and confirmed full and correct address. Phone call to the Tebeau PO goes unanswered after multiple attempts. No words for this level of incompetence. Follow up: finally contacted someone at P.O. in time to prevent a send back. They told me I should have marked it "x" & not "y". Still didn't make sense and both of their excuses for wanting to return the package were false.
They had boxes and the label was on the box. They also tapped it up for me!
Great speedy service. I always meet interesting people here. The people at the front desk are all experienced & I never had an issue. It does get busy, however that's expected. They have great Hallmark cards you can purchase on the spot. Prices are located everywhere. I spend 30 sec- 5 min here on a slow day and 15 min on a busy day. When you get your receipt you can always give that specific person a review. I never had the chance to do that yet but I definitely will next time because these people are amazing.
Very rude clerk!!! After waiting in a very long line for my turn, I had a prepaid package that was ready and one to pay for. I pick my postage out according to price and timeframe, and then just to write the address on the label she tells me to step to the side while she helps someone else. I was done in 30 seconds, the address was in hand and ready to be written. This next person needed more than I did, including filling out a form. She had me stand there the whole time and wait on her to completely finish before she would just finish ringing me up. So the person behind me was done and out the door before I was!! After asking her why she did that she didn't even apologize and got very rude and snooty towards me. This isn't the first incident I've faced there with the same lady, they need to FIRE her and put someone else in that position who knows how to handle customers properly!!
Went there about 4pm just to buy stamps. They had several people on line and one person on the register. Sound bad,it wasn't. This guy was fast and the best customer service I seen in a while.
Rude clerk!!! I've had to go to the post office twice this one to send a package to my brother who works for the military and it's an apo address. I went to blackshear and the clerk there gave me the mailing label the only one I needed and he made me fill out another shipping label. He let another customer go ahead of me who had multiple packages. I moved to go to the other clerk and he stopped me! I will be going to blackshear from now on.
Best people at Post offices in the area. Always service with a smile
Every time I visit the post-office, there's an issue. They're either out of something I need for shipping a package, or the staff is rude and shows little to no enthusiasm when assisting myself and others. Today broke the straw. I called up to the office, and kept waiting for someone to pick up the phone for 4 minutes. I know they did not close until five, and I also know how they like to ignore the phone by visiting the establishment. So I stayed on the line until I got something even more unpleasant than a long wait. When someone finally answered the phone "Mike" he answered in such a way, I began to wonder if I'd even called the correct number. He answered the phone with "Yeah?" followed by an angry sigh. When I asked if this was the post-office he made sure to say I was correct with a very demeaning tone. Once it was confirmed, I asked very politely if he could help me with an issue I've been having with a package that's being forwarded back and forth repeatedly to Tampa and Waycross. He proceeded with a moody voice to say there was nothing he could do about it, 'nor was there anything he could do to help me. He blew me off and told me to call back in the morning and hung up. It is quality like this that is allowed which ruins Waycross and keeps it the rubbish town it is. EDIT 10/5/18 Today I am changing my couple-years-old review. This establishment has improved significantly, with much friendlier service and well-stocked supplies. I've visited here numerous times in the past few months and it has been quite pleasant, especially when compared to prior visits. Thank you for showing some places in Waycross can really turn around#
i run a small online business from home so i send hundreds of packages a year. The usps in general is a joke but it seems like they try to employ the worst garbage people they can find to run their stores. I could list dozens of awful experiences ive had and they ALWAYS react offensive its always my fault and they dont owe me anything. They mark pickups as "attempted" and just dont pick them up at all. You can never get a human on the phone. Packages are beaten and thrown around and never arrive on time.
The previous reviews are right. There is a large # of the staff that is very rude and extremely stressful to deal with. They don't care, they can be very sarcastic, and some are so bad the people in line will let people go ahead so they don't have to deal with them.
