I’m so sick of the inconsistency in the mail delivery. It’s a joke. I have not seen a mail person drive by in a couple days. Now watch a pile of mail show up Monday. This is not right, people wait on things in the mail still. I’ve been sitting here waiting for something for days and I havnt gotten any mail.
The worker Sandy is so rude, I already know what it's like to work in customer service so I try not to be mean or make their jobs hard but when its simple like asking questions to understand the post office process when THEY lose someone's passport. She had an attitude of jump, interrupted me while I tried to provide the long tracking number so I had to start again. Refused to answer any question with a smart remark. Like if you don't like your job of providing customer services WHY are you there. That was the worse experience I have ever had and I'll be going up there to talk to someone in charge.
Worst interaction I've ever had at a post office. I'm there to pickup mail for the hospital, I ring the door bell, wait 3 mins, then ring it once more. Eventually a woman answers the door and says, "don't ring the doorbell more than once, we hear you." I just nodded and laughed it off. The woman was wearing large blue noise canceling headphones and I could barely understand her the whole time. She went to get my stuff, I watched her take her time socializing with other mail employees along the way, and then finally she returns and hands me a small slip and says, "sign this." I sign it and turn to walk away. She say umm can you print it please. I say okay and print my name on the paper, turn to walk away and she says, "next time write your address too." I just laughed at her and said, "I won't be back here again." She shouted "good" and walked away. Terrible experience
Came up here to get some information about a package of mines and it was a worker that was very impatient rushing me to explain the situation to her and aggressively talking to me after I told her about herself she slammed the door in my face like how rude can you be
Only location in the area where you can drop off prepaid packages in the package drop. Also they have the only self serve kiosk. They usually get packages scanned in 24-48 hours from drop off. Much faster than other ones. Highly reliable for a business owner who doesn't have time to wait in line.
Went to post office mail out obituaries for out of town family. I had a total of 8 envelopes. The clerk named Deloris totaled my purchases and I attempted to pay with my debit card. The transaction did not process and Deloris irately stated that I must have done something wrong and for me to redo transaction. Before I could complete transaction she called another customer to her counter. Meanwhile my transaction failed again. Deloris was talking with the new customer and I reminded her that she could only wait on one customer at a time. Also the new customer was closer than 6 feet to me which is a violation of recommended COVID. Deloris irately told me that I could not tell her how many people to wait on at one time. At this point I became angry and asked for her supervisor. A clerk who sat next to her said she was the supervisor and told me to stop yelling. I told supervisor I was not yelling but had raised my voice because Deloris was being rude. The supervisor offered no assistance. I reminded Deloris that I am a customer and deserved to be treated with respect and stated to her that maybe her unprofessional behavior to customers meant it was time for her to retire. Deloris agreed that maybe it was time for her to retire. I told her that I would submit a complaint against het and Deloris sacartistically said go ahead. I would give this a zero rating. It’s frustrating to be treated rudely under in circumstances but especially when you are a paying customer!
Mail lady knocked down broke my mail box..always deliver my mail to wrong address because I kept making complaints the manager made a false report to the attronery general her name is [email protected] she is very unprofessional a liar rude and cover the wrong doing of her lazy workers. Because i filed many complaints she retaliated. When i moved I reported many times that my account was still hooked up with informed delivery i dont know how to fix it. I thought once i changed address and signed up for informed delivery at my new address I was doing the right thing. In any case i seen many complaints on Next door about the mail carriers and this post office. Im looking for a lawyer to sue this lady because she falsify reported me out of retalation
I have had packages missing and my mail forwarded or not delivered by someone yet I could not get any answers to why or who did it. I wish someone look into this whole post office not all people are bad so we cant blame everyone for the actions of others. I have had bank information forwarded to other address without my consent, They need a zero tolerance policy for any negative action with all postal carriers and the inside workers.
I'm not sure who can help me with this post office that happens to be the only one in my town. This is the 4th time there has been a mix-up with a request for mail-hold. I've used this service offered by the Post Office about 7 times in the last couple years and there has been a problem more than half the time. The first two times I made the request on-line and there wasn't a problem; however the 3rd time there was. My mail was delivered the day before I requested. This wasn't safe and with mail theft and identification fraud, I was alarmed by this carelessness. I went into the Matteson, IL station and complained. The manager, Lonnie was very apologetic and stated the regular carrier was on vacation and the sub didn't follow the request accurately. He asked me to come in and let him know the next time I needed a mail hold, so I put the request on line and went into the station and let him know. All was well. The next time the same thing. The last two times, I did the request on-line, but the last one I went inside the station. I didn't request the manager again since I was feeling confident that whatever the problem was it had been worked out. However, once the mail was never held and this last time, it wasn't delivered on the day I requested. I didn't have the energy to go back to the station the time before today; however today I arrived home early enough and I when I arrived to find my mail at the station when it should have been delivered today; I was given the same excuse about the carrier being on vacation. This is unacceptable!
They closed the inside lobby before 6pm and refused to refill the boxes in the 24 hour open area and refused to hand one to me. The container for priority boxes were completely filled in the lobby but they locked the door before 6pm. If you are going to close before the time listed then please make sure the boxes are available for us in the 24 hour area.
