Everytime I need to go the postal office I dread it simply because the staff here are so unwelcoming , and very demanding and rude. I am always very polite with a smile on and with manners and I deserve the same back. 2 ladies up front need some serious help .
I gave two stars because Bob is always friendly and takes great care of me, and from what I’ve seen he takes great care the other customers as well. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the other people that work at this location. I’ve personally been treated poorly by other employeees and have witnessed the same to other customers. We don’t care that your federal employees, put your cell phone down, be polite, and do your job.
The customer service is horrible. This was my first time at this location. I booked an appt online for a new passport with photo services for my child. The clerk whos name was Shawna was very rude. When I was getting the paperwork ready I told her our appt also included the photo services for my baby, and very rudely she responded, "oh no I can't do that" so when I asked why, she said that location was not "equipped" for passport photos. It did not make any sense as they have an advertisement as soon as you walk in that says "get your passport photos here!!!" We left as there was nothing she could do to assist us with the passport. My husband & I then decided to go to the location in Hinsdale, 30 mins away as we were told by my MIL the customer service there was great and yes it was! The gentleman assisted us with the application and took the passport photo for my baby with no issue at all.
Absolute trash! Mail and customer service. Would give zero stars if it were an option. Phone clerk was very rude and insisted I was being 'nit-picky' because I requested their driver no longer sit on his personal cell phone in my driveway after refusing to deliver a package because there were chickens in the yard LOL and I asked if they could deliver the mail/magazines with some common sense/care - no bending along the spine. She said there was nothing she could do about that, its up the mail man how he wants to bend things. So, thanks for hiring people who don't care at all. Real good look. Seems to be the norm based on other reviews. Sad.
Absolute trash.. and this staff represent our government smh. Unprofessional people who take this job for granted.. government employees think they can’t get fired and have immunity… Frankfort is a high end suburb with high income people who deserve professional and Cordial staff… it’s pathetic that Frankfort residents have to take their postal business to Mokena to get things done promptly with respect
I went to this post office with my family of 4 to apply for passports. We had an appointment that was good for 1 hour of time to complete the process. We had not completed all of the paperwork upon arriving to our appointment, and for that we received the worst customer experience. Upon being directed to go into the lobby area to complete the paperwork, we were constantly treated with a disrespectful tone by the supervisor on duty. She lacked the ability to communicate effectively, her tone was rude and indignant. When I addressed her about how she was talking to me and my husband, her response was defensive and as she apologized, she continued with the same nasty tone and asserted that she was just trying to help us. She continued to offer threats about us needing to hurry up or miss our turn at this point, we were barely 15 minutes into our 1 hour allotted time. After a few minutes, though we had not fully completed the application, she decided to take the passport photos she could have done this to begin with as an act of service without the threats and insults. We returned to the custom service counter to be addressed by a different employee who started in immediately with her bad attitude, after my husband addressed her, she walked away as if to refuse us service. The supervisor yells at my husband instead of redirecting her employee who was the one with the horrible response. In the end, we worked with a wonderful employee named Doris who went above and beyond with customer service. I hope you get her if you choose to use the services of this post office. I am also writing to the Post Master regarding the need to train the staff on having great service and good interpersonal skills. As a side note, a customer came in while we were finishing up who had not had her things in order, I watched her fill out a label, grab a box and assemble it, fill it up, then tape it all while standing at the inside counter. All of this without ever being told that she must complete that in the lobby which is what started our poor customer service experience.
Yet another terrible experience at the Post Office. Unhelpful. One person working the desk.
I have never had an issue at this location before. Today, I received terrible customer service. Extremely rude clerk. It’s just so sad how people have become so comfortable with their ignorance. I left in tears and will take my business elsewhere from now on. 12/17 at 10:54AM. Do better.
Employees are rude and act like they hate their job. Waited in line for a while because the employees don’t care and take their sweet time and move like turtles.
Terrible customer service from a clerk. Rude. It's obvious this is a job with no worries about customer service at all. Maybe they should have to compete in the marketplace? This may make them understand they have to earn a customer's business. I actually felt harassed.
