This is the only office opened on Saturday after 12pm. Naturally parking at a premium. The wait on this day with a long line about 15-20 minutes. Interestingly, everyone was patient and there were no outburst. The postal workers were decorated for the season and quite pleasant. Ms. Lisa helped me. She was calm, professional and explained cost. Although service was excelkent, it would be great if another post office in the area, would extend hours beyond 12pm on a Saturday.
Every time I expect a package on Saturday I get this “ No Access to Delivery Location“ my cars are always parked out front of my garage but miraculously the package pops up on Monday this particular time I needed that package for a Sunday’s event. I lost money and I’m pissed…
Multiple times now will mark package as "no access to delivery location" as I have seen them drive off before finishing up the houses on the street. Likely just leaving due to time but will sit on their phone in the truck for 30 minutes at a time doing nothing but wasting time leading to not having time to finish deliveries.
Usually get my parcels on time If not a day late. I understand that USPS is hectic with the holidays but I appreciate you delivering my packages in a promptly and organized manner.
I went in twice today because my mail is being delivered and my packages are not. Some tall, nasty, long haired grandma working there decided to cop an attitude with me the second time I was there asking questions, because no one is answering the phone! She said to a customer she was helping, while I was having a nice conversation with the guy helping me, “how many times do I have to tell people….” I hope you get fired for that. That’s grounds for termination anywhere. Absolutely disgusted
The mail is a highly important factor and is a federal crime to mishandle. However, this post office is consistently mishandling mail and not being held accountable. There are countless packages being misplaced or even stolen. We are losing out on money and time trying to get this figured out. These people need to be held to a higher standard one mistake ok… 3 to 4 there is something suspicious going on with this post office. The mail carriers claiming items are being delivered knowing that they are not need to be investigated.
OMGoodness, they ACTUALLY answer the phone! you have to wait through the phone prompts until the end for an operator In all the years I've dealt with the post office, in various cities and states, this is the FIRST that 1- picks up the phone, 2- Is very friendly and professional, 3 - helpful and informative. Wow, what year am I in? A true blast from the past in courteousness. Very refreshing!
I prefer to avoid the post office at all costs but my experience here really changed my perspective, which means so much more having visited during a pandemic 30 minutes before they closed for the day. My entire experience was stress free, super quick, and so pleasant. I was offered help by workers who were just passing by. The person who helped me with my fingerprinting was absolutely amazing, I think their name was Janicee?? So sorry if I misspelled but all to say I highly recommend this post office!!
This office is an embarrassment to the USPS. When asked why priority mail packages takes 4 days to leave the Lansdale post office to the next destination which is Philly only 1 hour away, the staff lied and insisted our tracking information is wrong. Due to their incompetence, priorty mail is delayed taking over 10 days to arrive, and local mail is ALWAYS late or missing causing bills to be overdue and perishable gifts sent to loved ones gone to waste. They take no accountability and fail to do their job again and again. It's sad we pay their wages and yet need to pay more for actual reliable service from UPS or FedEx. Truly an untrustworthy post office deserving of 0 stars. ABSOLUTE WORST.
They’ve lost multiple packages and when I inquire they just say they are looking into and will call you later today, but never do. Now I have to pay for premium shipping through FedEx or UPS just to ensure that I receive the package. It’s a shame because we already pay to fund these folks through federal taxes and debt, then we have to pay again for someone else to do the job correctly.
