The outside mailbox had not been emptied for the weekend or Monday. The mail was falling out of it. We went inside to tell the person behind the counter, and he admitted that it had not been emptied for a ‘few days’. He was extremely rude, and told me I shouldn’t have left my mail in the outside box. The parking lot is extremely hazardous! I can’t believe these are the people that are serving our community.
I am usually pleased with this USPS. But upon returning from a vacation I found out that my mail had not been held as requested and confirmed on the USPS web page. In the future I will confirm by phone after requesting a hold on my mail by the USPS web page.
The USPS in Jenison Michigan is the worst. An older frail woman with a ponytail assisted me in the morning of 3/15/23 & was so rude for no reason. She gave me so much attitude the second I walked up to the counter. I greeted her with a smile & asked if they are able to print shipping labels by chance & she snapped at me apparently they cant print labels which is totally fine but don’t bite my head off! She continued to snap at me in a rude tone about everything we discussed & clearly she didn’t want to do her job whatsoever & made it a big deal & acted like she didn’t have any tape when I asked for a piece & threw her hands up trying to find some. It’s a shipping store — of course you have tape! She couldn’t help me with anything so I just left & walked away crying. I will avoid this location at all costs — not worth the unnecessary mean energy.
Fix your parking lot!!!! Im not sure why this isnt being done??? Totally unacceptable. Looks like complete trash!!! If you wont fix your parking lot you shouldn't be allowed to be open for business. Not that difficult call a company and repair it.
went in for passport pics n this lady told me to pull up to the lobby with the ugliest lighting ever like even school lighting is better bro... anyways she continued to tell me to brush my hair out of my face which is like a part of me so she basically set me up to make me look worse than i already do if you're the lady who looks kinda like that hot ginger from despicable me please buy led lights for the lobby I PROMISE MORE PPL WILL COME
Have an email confirmation of stopping mail for vacation and get back from vacation to find all my mail for the week crammed in the box. I would think once it starts to fill up the carrier would think to check on a hold???? Magazines, envelopes all crushed!
Wow. I walked in to the store at 4:50 PM to send off a box I grabbed a box and they let me take some tape from inside to use to send the mail. As I was writing down the address in taping up the box someone closed the door to the inner area of the post office and said that they were closed because it was 5:00 PM. I told them it was ready to be sent. They told me to go to Grandville post office. They locked the inner office door so that I had my box and the tape with me in the area that is the mail room. I told them I was not just going to take the tape out of the store, because it was NOT PAYED FOR. They did not care. They told me to take the tape and pay for it at the Grandville store. Wow. It was 5:00 and they couldn’t spare a minute. I went to the Grandville post office and they were awesome. Open until 6:00pm! I will not be going to the Jenison PO again.
Horrible management. Most times, only one person working the counter with a huge line of people waiting. Workers have no care of helping you. They mostly complain out loud about having to work. They have no ambition to help people solve their shipping problems. Instead just stand there while I list off possible solutions and tell me no repeatedly.
January 7, 2021 went in to renew my passport. I had all documents ready to go. Signed and sealed the envelope for expedited service and left the post office with my tracking info. As of today 1/19/21 after speaking with two different workers at the post office my passport is in transit.The first person I spoke with was extremely helpful. The second not so much. I have no idea where it's at because it has not been scanned in at the next facility. If there is no transit info soon I will report it lost/stolen. This is not the first issue I've had with this post office. My Vera Wang bridesmaid dress was shoved in my road side mailbox. So I should have not took my chances with their service again. That's my fault for trying to help out the local branch so it doesn't get closed.
I don’t like to talk about racism since I love to think that there are still decent human beings who don’t care about colors but lord, I have given them many chances and “staff” working at this location are SO racist! Every single time I or my brother come to this location, we end up treated like trash by the staff working here. You can obviously tell they hate their job and that they hate foreigners looking . Sad that they don’t understand that they are being placed there and paid to serve everyone regardless if they like it or not and that the least they can do is to provide a fair and profesional work when serving the public. I don’t ask you for a free service!
