I went to the West Caldwell Post Office today to renew my Passport and the people there were extremely helpful.
No bad, faster than expected, though the lady was a lil spacy
Essex Fells branch excellent service friendly and proficient love it. West Caldwell branch not friendly or helpful long lines clerks just disappear or walk out with customers waiting. I avoid this branch at all costs. Caldwell branch proficient less friendly but only one clerk working, sometimes this causes long lines and longer waiting times
Horrible customer service. Rude workers who dont know anything about politeness. Horrible customer service. All staff must be fired. Whoever managed this place does a terrible job. No proffesionalism at all. I wouldnt recommend this place to my enemy.
I'm surprised with the amount of negative reviews in here. I was just there yesterday for a passport application. and had the pleasure to be assisted by Mr. Eric. he made the process go so smooth. very professional, and I was in and out in no time. Thank you Eric.
From my experiences: The West Caldwell post office has dedicated employees who are professional and friendly . The few times I have run into a problem, they have gone out of their way to help and then followed up. Yes, the interior of the building is a bit dated as are many Government offices.Yes, once in a while there are lines. Nonetheless, I give the Post Office High Marks!
Received a phone call from someone at this facility about a claim I filed over my package. The woman literally interrogating me over the phone. She started to get and attitude and her voice got louder as the phone call continued. It was like she thought that I was committing fraud or was trying to catch me in a lie or something. I was on the phone with her for 14 minutes before she finally understood the claim, instead of saying sorry I didn’t understand, she stated “why didn’t you just say that the first time!” Even though I did, if she would’ve just took a second and listened there would not have an issue. Very disrespectful and unprofessional.
i received an orange slip said failed delivery a package with no signature on Jan 15, so i filled out the paper and signed the back, then i put it backed into the mailbox thought they will deliver again without problem. I kept waited and checked, nothing. I met the mailman in my front door when i backed from work on 23rd and asked him what is the normal procedure to redeliver my package, he said i would better to go to the post office. So i went there in next day 24th, i showed the staff the signed orange slip picture on my phone, she didn't take a look and went to the back for few seconds, she came back with an answer : the package is going out for redeliver , probably u will receive today. Today is 27th i receive nothing. And i messed up my mail forwarding, they said they will fix it. i couldnt get any mail from my old address for six weeks now. their services sucked.
Quick service for passport with child. They take the picture if you need it
I called the post office to find out why I wasn't receiving mail. The "supervisor" asked if I put a hold on it. I replied that if I put a hold on I would KNOW WHY I wasn't getting mail! after a week I got my mail, with all kinds of markings that it was being held. then I saw the request: by another resident who lived on another block with a name totally different. The only similarity was our house number. They are the absolute worst post office. Not my first problem!!
