For those complaining about missed deliveries... Burnsville has been delivering your mail for several years now, not Savage. Give Burnsville 1*. The guys at Savage are great!
Couldn't tell you how many times they miss deliveries. Good luck getting through to talk to anyone about where your packages are. If it's the weekend, might as well expect any scheduled deliveries to not come until the following week. The reviews obviously fall on deaf ears. Zero accountability.
The older gentleman Bill is great to work with and I'm glad he's been working there consistently! However, I give it a lower rating because this Savage location has been closed a few times in the last year, due to the labor shortage. Get hiring! Also, one employee was throwing labeled fragile packages into a basket. Please be respectful with the packages.
Horrible, packages always late, when the put on their website "package needs to be picked up at carrier facility" I go in, its super slow and then they don't even have it says its out for delivery when they already came today and it wasn't delivered
This is the third time I've visited this location since being in the area. The first time, the woman behind the counter was extremely rude to several people before I even got to the front of the line, then rude to me as well. The other male employee was also rude and short with a family sending packages because it was 5:10pm and kept telling them to "hurry up, some of us want to go home." They weren't even wasting any time. The other two times I've been there to send out packages around 5pm, they have closed up early and the self service box is not in use. I didn't know the US postal service could just close up early whenever they feel like being done for the day, like it's a local coffee shop.
Horrible customer service. One person working five people in line. And the cashier that was working talks way too much to the customers. He needs to be more efficient. And you need more people working. It is the holiday season. And I couldn't even mail what I needed to because I didn't have time to wait for a half hour. Third time this week I've tried to mail something. I seen other reviews about the annoying clerk that talks too much. Maybe you should pay attention to your customers and get rid of him.
Trying to ship some fish today, Dillon wouldn’t ship it for me. He called manager and manager was ok with shipping fish. I been shipping fish many times. He came up with excuse of express or no shipping. I guess just a rude person working there. Went to his managers branchBurnsville they were all fine with it. Go read code 526.6 on tropical fish.
I receive the wrong mail all the time. Plus in the past 2 months there have been 3 packages delivered to me that were meant for my neighbors. The address was clearly printed on the box. I dont believe my carrier knows how to read or just doesn't care. For a good paying job the quality of carrier should be at the highest.
I live in Burnsville, MN. My package never arrived so I submitted a claim. I then get notified that my package is being held at the Savage, MN post office at the "customer's request" which I never requested. I get to the Savage post office and was told that this location doesn't hold packages for people and that the USPS site may say that my package is at this location but it is really at the Burnsville, MN post office and would have to go there.... Are you kidding me!? The employee working was nice.. but it was the most bizarre and annoying thing.
Post worker Dillion needs to take a course on manners. He is so rude and talks down to people. We go to the post office to mail our packages and get help, not to get criticized. I don’t memorize the rules or care - just tell me nicely how much I owe and mail it. I am so sick of going and being treated so rudely and having him talk down to customers & always having to be right. Put someone friendly at the front desk.
