Everytime I go in here and have the lady with the short dirty blonde hair with glasses wait on me, she is RUDE as all get out and told me today that they are cracking down on a policy about priority labels. Ship date is when its scanned in at the post office. Point blank period. Last time she told me that I needed to do something about my printer bc she had to TYPE the numbers in. Call offoce depot yourself. NOW laura, laren... whatever her name is.. is an ABSOLUTE DELIGHT!
If I was able to give a 1/2 star I would. SAD.. issue#1 - sent an item with return receipt the greencard that gets mailed back Well got the green card mailed back with NO SIGNATURE.. Went to speak to them as post office where I paid for this service they told me they would investigate and get back to me - 7 months later NOTHING! issue#2 - Order a PO box online - got errors when doing so. However was charged the full year. Read as per policy that a refund on a PO box where the keys are not issued would be automatic after 30 days. After 35 days I opened a ticket online a joke in itself since it was done online. waited 24 hours and called on hold for total 38min and transferred twice for them to tell me they customer service could do nothing. I was supposed to go talk to the post office. SO ... I went.. The people upfront where as courteous as possible. I was not irate. I was calm understanding this is my first communication with them about this, they could not "find" anything, nor were they allowed to do anything as their system did not provide an option. I was told that Susan the postmaster would have to investigate and get back to me. it was noon when I went - entire conversation is recorded in audio They took my number and no call as of yet. I have learned that it is NOT the system as a whole truly and sadly just this location. My dealing with Greer Post Office has never had a hitch. My dealing with Taylors Post office never a hitch when living in those areas but this one.. my my. Not sure what is wrong.... just sad. a sad representation of one of the most local services our federal govt can offer to a citizen.
My packages are constantly late, even though they show "out for delivery".. They even forgot to give our regular mail today. Ridiculous. O ly 1 lady on our route is good at delivering the mail. She's always on time and nice. The other 2 are incompetent.
This is the worth place I ever been. For years I found that this people are lying about the rules & trying to make you pay extra money for packages. Also I received ripped off packages from angle to angle on delivery . Very bad service !!!.
the worst post office ever!!!!! a customer service rep told me my package was mis shipped and that they sent it back out. It never said it departed their facility. she told me that they didn't know where it is now. I needed the package yesterday because it's an replacement phone for my broken one now. if it doesn't come tomorrow, then i most definitely am calling corporate to complain!!!!!! so upset
Absolute slowest post office ever. Never deliver on date shown. Absolute last resort dealing with usps in general, this location is worse than any other. Been getting other peoples mail for 7 years now.
Every time i have a package go through Lyman post office there is almost always a problem. Most of the time my packages are "mis-shipped"
Do not ship with them. There is a criminal working there. A 400.00 package signature required was stolen by one of there employees. The manager admitted something strange happened, but a week later said she thought the package may have accidently been dropped in the trash bin. Their screw up 100 % but they threw my claim out. The item will be listed for sale at some point by whoever stole it. I'll be watching. Update The manager there is very cooperative and we ended up settling 250.00 for a 400.00 package Guess I cannot complain, but my only advice would be if you ship anything through this post office, be sure to insure it Update: Now the manager completely changed her story and said there's nothing she can do since the package wasn't insured. Do not fall for the "SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION" service because it means nothing. Furthermore, an item awfully similar to mine showed up on ebay for sale recently. Think twice before you use this Post Office. I read another review where someone's birthday card was stolen from the actual birthday gift......seems to be a trending thing at this Post Office Updare: On 4/19, I had submitted a Package pick up request. I never put the package out; Yey, I still received a notification my package was picked up successfully !!! There was even a confirmation number !! Still think nothing weird is going on here ? Funny, I cannot even trust my local Post Office. From here out, any package worth over 50.00 gets dropped off at the Greenville Post Office.
The Lyman Postmaster is an amazing caring energetic active employee who gets his hands dirty along with his employees. He is very customer service oriented and takes precautionary measures to ensure the safety and health of his employees and clients. Because of his positive attitude toward his employees and clients it would be great that the hours on Saturdays be changed 9 to 1, due to the fast increased growth in the community. We in the community appreciate the Postmaster and feels he should be recognized for his excellent customer service all the way around. This would be something positive for the corporation and it shows that you care and reward those hard workers in your organization.
Worst post office I’ve ever visited!!! Rude lady poor service I 100% do not recommend coming here!
