It is a large and busy Post Office. It is located in downtown Toms River. The building is not Handicapped Accessible. They do have 4-5 Handicapped parking spots. The employees are friendly. I was just surprised that for such a busy Post Office they only had 2 people working the counter. There is a separate room inside, where you can apply for a Passport.
Took 3 months to receive a new mailbox key when I moved into my home. The line exceeded a half hour each time. The reps never seemed to know how to replace a key or where to get one. Kind of a crazy place. I feel genuinely bad for anyone who works in this environment. Most poorly run place I have ever dealt with. Bad news America.
No one answers the phone here usps refused to deliver my package saying I don't live at my current address it's ridiculous not everyone had a eay to get to the post office or the time the least someone can do is answer a phone once in a while
Worst post office ever. Women at front desk was very rude. Asked her to make shipping labels which is her job and she basically refused and was rude to me. Don’t go here if you’re looking for workers that will be helpful to you.
I normally don’t come here. I had an Amazon packet I had to return. The African American employee was not friendly. She did not have a positive attitude, I felt like I was asking for too much when I wasn’t. I’ve had a better experience coming here before.
This post office is always busy, they never have enough cashiers. I also have a P.O. box at this location and all of the time they put someone else’s mail in my box. I don’t understand why they have such a bad sorting out process or system. Some of my mail have gotten lost too. not a very organized post office. I hope the post master do something about this problems.
Ugh, everytime I go its a different Story why I can't get a Mailbox. And different people there everyday so nobody knows what's going on.
Rudest staff of any business in DTTR. the woman behind the counter told me she doesn’t have shipping labels. I rolled my eyes and laughed didn’t say a word thinking she had to be joking and she asked me to leave. I asked to speak to a manager and she told me she was the manager. Luckily my father in law is a mail carrier at that location and verified that she is in fact not the manager. I’d rather drive to the next town to do my shipping. 0 stars
Can't do their jobs. Never answer the phone
I am so disappointed in the service "or lack of" by the postal workers in Island Heights. I was sick with COVID and sent my husband to send out my holiday gifts for clients after he got home from a work shift and could not make it there any sooner. They refused to provide service to him because he did not have postage on his packages already. He was in line by 12:30pm the post office closes at 1pm on Saturday. He got to the counter at 12:38pm and they would not put postage on his packages because he had 14 bubble mailer envelopes with him and they said "we have a line out the door sir and will never have enough time to get these done and get through the line." Isn't that why you go to a post office? To get postage and mail packages. He should have been served just as any other customer in line who also waited their turn.
