I needed some clarification on my package’s whereabouts so I filled out the form online at around 10:30am with little expectation to be honest, BUT to my surprise Bill from the West Chester post office called me at 12:25pm to inform me that my package just showed as delivered & to reach out if I had any questions. I was shocked at how fast the response was & that someone actually responded at all!! THANK YOU, BILL & everyone there!!
I drive to this location bc I have fast and accurate service. But they desperately NEED A/C For the summer at least. It’s 90+ degrees.
Post Office needs to train their employees how to sell a simple money orders. Went to another one aaand the same thing! One employee even tried to use the excuse "We dont have that kind of money"‍. I said "Its a MONEY ORDER, you dont need any money" . She then said "I dont know to do them". Duh, I figured that out already. Privatize The Postal Service so we can get rid of these gawd aweful employees!
I personally on average drop an amount of 10 boxes per week on this location, sometimes more, spread through the week. I never had a problem, they are very efficient and my boxes get delivered quickly. It is a very busy location and sadly I have to witness customer abuse to the workers, constantly. Every person that works in this location keeps it professional, calm ad respectfull no matter what and manages to take care of every single one of us at the same time.
I recently had an issue with a missing package. I contacted the West Chester Post Office and spoke to two employees who said they would research my issue but did not get back in touch with me as they had promised. I finally connected with a third employee, "Lee". Lee took my issue seriously and did all that she could to try and personally help me resolve my issue. Regardless of the outcome, I wanted to take the time to commend Lee for her efforts. Just knowing that she actually "cared" and "wanted" to help me meant a lot. Thank You Lee, you have shown you are a person of great integrity and commitment. You are appreciated!
Can't never get ahold of anyone by phone. You have to go to the office to talk to anyone. I always get someone else's mail with the similar # on our Street. Plus I've had to have companies resend due to not receiving. I just assumed it was most likely getting delivered to the other person's house. the ones I get mail for that is the last time I wrote on the mail that "my address was ???? Not ????. And to get it right!" They need people that are not in a rush and do their jobs right.
I wasn't receiving any mail for 6 months after I changed my address, the post office in hamilton was so much nicer to me than these people. Every time I come in the employees are extremely rude, interrupt me when I'm speaking, and are condescending and dismissive if you have an issue with anything. Their postmaster is very sweet, so I don't understand why they act this way. If I made almost $19 an hour to scan envelopes I would be much more pleasant than these folks.
This is a very convenient post office in a great location. Unfortunately, there's one old Indian lady who's absolutely awful to work with. She will constantly question every single package you bring in and complain that every one needs to go through inspection. We no longer go to this location simply because dealing with her rude attitude is an absolute chore. If it were only one occasion then we'd chalk it up to her having a bad day, but unfortunately every single visit she's had a horrible chip on her shoulder. I suppose it's easier to take things out on your customers than provide good service. The rest of the staff have been friendly to us so it's such a shame that her awful attitude has ruined our experience here. When she gets fired we'll come back.
The Indian lady at the front desk is unbelievably rude every time I see her. Always questioning me and asking why my packages are light. I can’t help that. The only person who I enjoy seeing is Jerad. He gets the job done quickly and ALWAYS has a smile on his face. I would much rather go out of my way and go to the P.O. inside of Ace Hardware down the street. I wish you would transfer Jerad to that location. The ladies there are always polite. He would fit right in.
I sent a package that took longer than it should have. Because of the delay the postal worker told me over the phone that I could claim my refund from any US post office as long as I had the proper documentation. However, the supervisor at the West Chester US post office refused to give the refund. The clerk’s expression showed he also believed his supervisor was in the wrong. I went to a neighboring post office where I promptly received my refund.
