Went here for my son's passport. Had to come from Staten Island because there were no earlier appointments by me. After a minute or so, a worker told us where to wait for the passport. Only waited a few minutes then Lin took care of us. She was very nice and took less than 15 minutes.
The rudest LADY THAT WAS WORKING TODAY 2/9/2023 AT 3:45PM AT THE FIRST BOOTH TO THE LEFT ONCE YOU WALK IN. Needed a piece of tape and she would not give me one meanwhile began to make fun of me with another customer because I asked . I was with my 5 year old son who he HAS better manners than this RUDE lady. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE . I understand if they have rules but making fun of someone because they asked if they could borrow tape instead of “have a piece of tape” is JUST MEAN and all you had to say was no. I will be reaching out to speak to someone about this because as a bi lingual I am very offended with how she made me feel and worse with other customers.INFRONT OF MY CHILD
I actually had to go to my former employer to pick up my W2 because this wonderful establishment has lost my mail. I even asked my previous employer when they mailed out the second attempt - February 10th and as of this writing February 27th I STILL haven't received it. If something like that gets lost I can't imagine what else is too...I find it incredibly disconcerting.
Missing mail for 3rd time unable to contact post office directly not sure what is going maybe they busy rising the prices again Lol
Went in to do something I do almost every week for my boss. Check postage and get the official use receipt stamped and a receipt printed. The older white woman specifically clerk #17 said shes never heard of such a thing and huffed and puffed at me with a horrible attitude. I said I do this every week the clerk scans the envelope and prints a receipt after checking postage. She then suddenly knew how to do what I was asking once she saw I wasn’t leaving. The once she was done she threw the receipt on the counter and said here you go. I then said actually I need 5 stamps and I’d like to pick which ones and she sighed and said okay well it depends what we have to break off I immediately said yes to the first option she gave me as she proceeded to talk over me. Horrible customer experience. Really needs to be retrained on how to treat customers. If I talk to you with respect you should talk to me in the same manner. They say the younger generation doesn’t have manners seems to me like its actually the older generation.
I have frequented this post office pretty regularly over the past two years I have lived in Old Bridge but today was something like none other. My fiancé and I went into the post office on a Saturday morning with our wedding invitations asking if they could be hand canceled so they are manually sorted rather than run through a machine. A lot of post offices don't even do this anymore so it was a long shot. Anne looked at us like we were a little crazy but probably saw the desperation in my face and said okay, handed us the stamp and my fiancé and I got to work. This took no more than 5 extra minutes we had 115 invitations and was seriously such a relief and pleasurable experience when we could have easily been told no. Thank you Anne for your kindness and patience this morning!!
Since I moved to old bridge New Jersey- I have been issues with USPS like no other places. I have never been happier about moving away the way I am now in moving away from old bridge! I understand there has always been a negative stigma with the public sector services- but losing 3 our 5 packages every two weeks is alarming. I have filed claims- they tell you the old bridge manager will call, they never do- I went to their office and met with the manager- she told me to call the inspecting division of usps to report a crime- I have been reluctant to say that there is theft in this office- but now I am certain there there is a thief.. and the proper agency has to investigate this- my neighbors are all on alert and every time a package is put in front of my house I get text messages to come get it. One more item stolen and this will go to the police for investigation- this office is failing to provide the services they are hired to do. What a shame!
Never had a problem. Agents are courteous and knowledgeable.
US Post Office at 151 Route 516, Old Bridge NJ. 08857 2022 Aug.18. - Very put off by what happened today. I'm sorry I didn't think of getting a picture of the US postal delivery truck that deliberately parked in front of my car -front bumper to front bumper on Alpha Avenue, off Throckmorton Lane and I'm sorry I didn't get a picture of the light haired female driver that did this but I feel I have to note this in a review. I decided to move out of her way because at first I assumed that I was maybe obstructing and needed to get out of her way. If she was able to get a picture of this, good. It would show that I'm parked legally on the right side of the Alpha Avenue and she is NOT. I don't understand the front bumper to front bumper parking. Very disrespectful and disturbing. I'm assuming that postal employee is working with the he U.S. postal office at 151 Route 516.
Lost mail…once again. Bills that needed to be paid. 6 of them. Now each check cancellation is $35.00. Thank you so very much incompetent OLD BRIDGE POST OFFICE!!! And this is not even the first time this happened. This is a law practice and I can’t even begin to count how many legal documents have been lost as well. Are you going to reimburse me for all the money I have to shell out now because of your incompetency???? Awful awful awful. You don’t even deserve one star.
