This is not the friendliest place. Gave a compliment for the post office looking so nice. That was wrong, I guess. So quick and dismissal. I was lost and didn't know where what was. Was told to put it in a box where I had no idea where it was. That's why I asked the question. Hello Mississippi, from where my dad was born. It's too early to be this cranky, or that's just who she is. Nevertheless, I'll try something further away.
Once again Monday delivery is not sufficient when the normal postman is off. I had a birthday package sent to me by my friend. I called OB Post Office today the woman on the customer care call said the package would be delivered today. It wasn’t delivered on 7/10 because it arrived late. It was never delivered 7/11. The package is priority mail delivery within 2-3 days with a tracking number. It is over the three days. To top it off my package was marked with addressee unknown. Which is ridiculous when I’ve stayed in the same address for years. Not to mention the terrible customer service and experience. OB Post Office is a disgrace.
Updated on 07/19/23: I upped my rating to 4 stars from 3 stars due to the staff at the USPS branch. I went today to ship some items out and they were very friendly and professional. Not sure what's going on with all the negative reviews that they're unfriendly. Maybe I got them on a good day, but they were great! Also, our driver continues to be so nice and friendly with a smile on her face every time we interact. Original post: I first want to give a compliment to our driver. She is so friendly and professional! She always has a smile on her face and waves if she sees us. However, I come to the part that's negative. We continue to get mail from the previous owner. Some of it has the forwarding address where they attempted to have their mail forwarded, but some of the mail does not have it. Either way, it's a failure for the post office to have that mail sent to us. It's illegal to intentionally throw someone else's mail away, but it is so inconvenient having to continue sending the mail back. Tried calling the office with no response.
I went there for my 2 year’s daughter passport. Once we got in the office , an old lady wearing a gray wig with a verry bad attitude told me the baby is not allowed in , I said she’s the one who supposed to get a passport. After that , time to take the picture arrived, she was so rude that the the baby fill her behavior and start crying and she asked me to take the pictures because she can deals with babies . She was asking me how Old are she ? I said 2 years she replied to me : your daughter is to small for the years . Finally I took her to cvs a beautiful lady took the picture in 20 second. This old lady deserve to be fired
Your mail will take over a month to be delivered anywhere. It doesn’t matter if you put a simple card in your mailbox for the driver to pick it up or if you personally go inside to have your mail shipped. It’s absolutely ridiculous and has happened way too many times. I have never had this happened before. This office is terrible. Will only go through FEDEX and UPS from here on out.
It happened again the old lady that always works in the front corner always with a bad attitude treats people horrible. Another horrible experience with a very old black lady clerk with a wig. She was rude. I understand everyone needs a job but she does not like to interact with people what is she doing there? She should be working in the back. No name tag . This happened April 8th at 11:20am
one star isn’t even enough to describe how bad my experience I encounter this lady who works in front. Don’t go to this post office. Rude employee. I always ended up being talk down by the same lady everytime I need help or have questions with my package. Extremely rude is an understatement. I dont know who peed your cherios, but you are super rude and this isn’t the first time.
I don’t know who I need to speak to or complain to! But just received an empty envelope from my cousin to my kids for Christmas that supposed to have 3 gift cards in it but the envelope was opened and the gift cards were stolen! It’s pretty sad that you can’t even trust your mail carrier! Also not sure who it is that delivers in my area but she speeds and runs stop signs all the time and we live in a subdivision that the speed limit is 25 not 50 with a lot of kids! So if anyone could help me resolve this it would be great!
I usually have exceptional service at this location. However today, I had a horrible experience with an very old lady clerk with a poor attitude and an even worse grey wig. She was rude and claimed to be a Christian while talking down to me about a misunderstanding on how I packaged my items to ship. Instead of providing customer service she was harsh and provided insults. I will not be coming to this location again to do business. I will use Fedex or UPS in the future. I’d give this zero stars if I could. One very bad apple spoiled the bunch!!
This is a formal and public complaint against postal worker, Gwendolyn Pryor at my local post office in Olive Branch, MS. I have had a post office box 573 since 2018 since I moved back to this area. I have experienced several encounters where Gwendolyn has been rude and disrespectful towards me and other consumers. July 11, 2022 was the where I'd had enough. Gwendolyn was so nasty to the point that I had to speak to the postmaster, Terry Adams. A few minutes prior to speaking with him, I asked for Gwendolyn's name because she had NO badge or ID to identify her. She was wearing no badge or ID. At first when I asked her what her name was she would not answer then I asked her again. Finally, she said "Roxie". I started to walk out of the post office but I turned around and walked back and asked for a manager. Initially, I spoke to Faustina Thornton who stated no one by the name of Roxie worked there and then she got Mr. Adams, postmaster. Mr. Adams also confirmed no one but that name worked there and their badges should be displayed at all times. I told him this was a formal complaint. He also assured he would take care of it on his end and that I needed to call 800 number for USPS. When I called there was never a prompt for me to file a complaint. Although I paid for a PO Box there I have avoided going in the post office for the last 6 months because of Ms. Pryor's poor attitude and disrespect. I witness her be Nasty to an elderly man one day who looked as if he was 85 plus years old. My boyfriend went in the post office and he even came back and told me how nasty she was. Also, the reviews on Google reference her attitude and nastiness. I told Mr. Adams the Post office is fully aware of her behavior and they aid and abet an environment conducive for her to continue to act like this because there has been no reprimand. If there she wouldn't continue to act like this. He confirmed it's a process for this type of behavior but I told him I've been coming in here for almost 4 years and she's been the same nasty person. Why as a government agent is she allowed to lie about her name and not have a badge to display. I requested camera recording and I was advised by Mr. Adams and Ms. Thornton cameras do not pick up the actual conversation. Something has to be done despite the workers being part of a union. The union should not be backing government agents who lie on the job to taxpayers and law abiding citizens. Ms. Pryor's badge should have been Visual.
