Rhode Island Aviation Hall of Fame, Inc. plans to develop the USS JFK into a financially self-sufficient family attraction, education, job training center, museum and memorial on the Aquidneck Island (Newport) side of RI's Narragansett Bay.
RIAHOF has honored generations of aviation pioneers, and now looks its attention toward providing a self-sufficient family attraction, entertainment center, museum, job training center, and more aboard the now-decommissioned USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67) aircraft carrier.
The USS JFK ("Big John") served the country for 40 years, and we believe the ship and the power of President Kennedy's memory, especially in New England, will continue to serve the country for many years to come.
