This is the new page for all things UT Pro Bono!
The University of Tennessee College of Law has always been a leader in the area of public interest and pro bono work through its clinics, doctrinal curricula, and student organizations. Since its formation in the mid-1990s, the student organization “UT Pro Bono” has grown and evolved to meet the needs of the community and student body. During the past two years UT Pro Bono has experienced incredible growth in terms of the number of student participants, the number of external partners, the number of projects actively working to meet gaps in the legal system, and the faculty and administrative support of the program.
UT Pro Bono is a community service organization with significant student leadership and staff direction at the University of Tennessee College of Law. The program strives to connect law students with area attorneys representing indigent clients. Working in cooperation with attorneys and local legal aid societies, UT Pro Bono serves as a resource by providing law students for research, educational, and investigatory assistance.
