Mission

The mission of the UT Tyler University Academy is to develop scholars who leave school STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) College and Career Ready. STEM College Ready indicates scholars are prepared to enroll in a STEM Major at a university. Typically this means they are calculus ready upon graduation or have completed calculus in high school.

My daughter struggles with Math and it's now her favorite subject thanks to her teacher there Mr. Johnson. In fact, her entire teaching team and support staff has been extremely helpful. If you have a daughter on the spectrum, consider this school. They understand girls with ASD and their needs. Thank you University Academy.
We had such a horrible time at this school. My daughter went here in 3rd grade and would cry every morning this is something she had never done in the past. The teacher told my daughter she needed to be in special ed classes, and when we had a meeting with the teacher and principle, neither one of them seemed a bit concerned about the fact that my daughter was so hurt by the teacher saying that to her. In fact, the teacher even went as far as to tell my daughter that she was "missing tools in her toolbox". I understand that sometimes there are just bad teachers, but the school should recognize that and get rid of the teacher instead of pretending like nothing is wrong. We moved my daughter to Tyler Classical Academy after the first 9 weeks of school and she is thriving there. She's now in 8th grade and on the A/B honor roll and most importantly she LOVES going to school.
This is a small public charter school that focuses on STEM learning. My son has attended for 3 years and I cannot say enough good things about it. The learn using PBL and are barely ever sedentary. All the teachers have master degrees and it is affiliated with the university of Texas.
I got admission into MS Industrial Management Spring 2017. This University is the best fit for my academic needs out of my all admits. I highly appreciate the help extended by the International Student Adviser Margret Morgan by giving valuable advise and suggestions. The Graduate Admission Office under the leadership of Dr. Alicia Wolf is Global Student friendly and having holistic approach in admission processing. I am proud to be a student of this prestigious University.
I had high expectations of this school but just got the disappointment of the season. I was notified of a space available for one of my kids for the rest of 2018-2019 school year, I was happy yet surprised that the "long" waiting list had gone down but I was excited and determined to make it happen! Allthough that meant a longer commute since my other 2 kids school would be different. BUT all these expectations were based on online and email communications. Regretfully our on-site experience was bad enough to make us change our mind. The person in the office was unwelcoming, rude, and wasn't much helpful or didn't want to be? I walked into a class by mistake trying to find office, I didnt see much organization... Perhaps my expectations were too high? But they were based on their website which by the way needs to be updated, they still have 2016 info on it. We have decided that the current school has alot more to offer to our children and this expererince has made us appreciate it a lot more.
I strongly recommend. Its offers lot of findings, Financial Aid and Scholarship to the International graduate students and returning scholarships too, Cost of living is very reasonable.
Our grandson has never been excited to go to school... ‘til now. He cannot wait to go each day and at the end of the day cannot wait to tell you what he did that day.
Can't say enough about my alma mater! They learned me to talk gooder and be all edukatid. Lol ;
nice campus , great community but dont strive for community college
I want to join the grad school of MBA/ can I get some financial aid for int'l student?
