"Founded in 1904, Utah Food Bank has operated under various names but has always remained true to our mission of Fighting Hunger Statewide. 392,000 Utahns, which equates to 1 in 8 Utahns, are at risk of missing a meal today. Even more alarming is that 1 in 6 Utah kids are unsure where their next meal is coming from. With your support last year, we distributed 39.2 million pounds of food, the equivalent of 32.7 million meals, to people facing hunger across the state."

Delivery is efficient and friendly. Food products are fairly good. I have received moldy cheese, but just cut mold off and used the rest. Bread hasn't been edible but at least they are trying. Always nice to get a dozen eggs.The American cheese block I have been getting I give to neighbors with young children who will eat it.

I did a volunteer assignment here and the staff was friendly. Really appreciate their overall assistance they offer for the valley and state.

They have a very good selection to get the job done correctly with their abilities in the past year or two the best interest to share in a position with the work involved with the cov-9 team in this country we have a great opportunity of working on a regular routine with the future of the details on the donation page to get the medical insurance plan and food for your family as well as the benefits you need for your own personal care coverage in order for your own home to get the chance for maybe another day to make sure they have a better idea on what they need to get done correctly with the work involved u can get the chance of being able to help with the your life. I went for the first time and really enjoyed working as a volunteer. Our work for the shift took an hour and we boxed up food that will be delivered to elderly people in Utah. I was amazed with how organized, efficient, and easy it was. The whole experience ended up being a lot of fun.

We try to volunteer at the Utah food bank every year, we love it!!

Do not do court ordered community service here. 10 out of 10 would absolutely not recommend. Unless you like being called stupid, enjoy getting hurt and treated like absolute garbage find somewhere else to volunteer. Im not sure why they treat volunteers differently from court ordered volunteers but they 100% do. The workers inside the actual warehouse will scream at you and the front desk people will as they say "test your knowledge" like its a game. I broke open my hands and pulled my shoulder here. Not worth it at all. Went back in to get a statement of my hours and they didnt even remember me. I wish I had seen a post like this before I started.

It's important to give every month. But the holidays are a must.

It was awesome helping out to package up food! It's not much but it feels good to at least contribute in a very small way! Will definitely be back to volunteer again!

I want to say that I've been grateful for the help but now I have to warn people considering the food that you get is no longer any help because you get the same canned yucky spinach vegetarian beans etc, a small box of milk not 2 anymore wheat cereal, oh & the same box of fish food cheese, not real, then 1 dozen brown egg, sometimes bread just the same every month of these things, since my new driver she doesn't ever treat me with a dessert like I used to get when Jim was my driver he always had something for me, I wish he was my driver still, I needed to say this so they could maybe fix this because you really cannot make any kind of good meals with the same food that they keep bringing every month, So hopefully the right person will see this and maybe try to fix it and make there food that they bring a little bit better than it is right now and bring food that you can actually enjoy and make real meals out of it!! I will give a better review and rating if this gets better. Thanks for listening!! I appreciate it and the help very much!!
