During each visit to Utah valley pediatrics, i would say consistently my experience with Mike Gibson and his nurse Brittany are AMAZING. Knowledgeable. Caring. Efficient. Our most recent visit was scheduled at a certain time, but the doctor had fallen a bit behind due to a sick child he was attending to. Totally understandable. I had another appointment i needed to get to, and Brittany was quick to let us know that we wouldn’t be seen in time. I went to our other appointment, and stopped back by the office to see if we could possibly finish our wellness exam, or schedule for another day. Even though it looked like the doctor was about to leave, possibly done for the day, he kindly acknowledged they had fallen behind earlier and he was so quick to take us back and finish our visit. He took extra care to listen to all of our questions and concerns as he always does and they helped both my son and I understand the next steps in his needed care plan etc as well as helped us with referrals. They always call us back with any test results and are great to explain them. They have been wonderful helping make sure my sons care can be handled quickly, including juggling things around to fit our families needs specifically. Which isn’t always possible- but this time it was needed and possible and they made it happen!! Thank you!
Dr Adams is the best pediatrician. So great with my kids they all love him and think he is the greatest! He is also very thorough. He caught kidney cancer very early on and saved my sons life. When we got up to primary children’s everyone wanted to know how it was caught so early. This kind of cancer typically gets diagnosed around age 4-6 but my son was 1 when Dr Adams felt something was wrong and sent us for more testing. He also showed up to the hospital later that night with tears in his eyes for what he discovered. Everything you could want in a doctor that cares for kids. We have been going to him for 16 years now and can’t say enough positive things about him. Great doctor and honestly just a great man. Highly recommend.
We’ve been seeing Dr B. Anderson since he took over for Dr Nielsen lots of years ago. I would never change pediatricians. We typically have to wait a few minutes in the waiting room but that’s just because Dr Anderson is thorough, which I appreciate. My youngest will turn 18 next year & then we’ll be all done with his pediatric care. We’ll miss him a lot!
I feel like I have to share how amazing Dr Anderson is. He was our pediatrician for 2 years before we moved and I truly didn’t know how good we had it until we moved away. We have been to 3 other pediatric offices since Utah valley and nothing comes close to their standard of care. We never once felt rushed or like all of our questions weren’t important and answered. Dr Anderson would always take the time to explain things to us, and he wasn’t pushy about any procedures. His exams were so thorough and we truly wish we lived closer so we could continue seeing him. The front office staff in Provo is also so friendly and I love how they talk to the kids just as much as the parents. My kids always got stickers at the end of their appointment and the staff was so patient letting them choose one. I will recommend Utah valley peds and Dr Anderson to all of my friends in Utah county.
I have had nothing but positive experiences!! My son sees Dr. Jensen and he is so kind and helpful! He does a great job of educating you on ways to help your child, but also doesn’t try to push you to do anything you don’t want to. All of the nurses who help have always been so sweet with my son and you can tell they love their jobs. Everyone in reception is kind and on top of things. I can even say that the billing department is great, which seems to be rare. I had some issues and when I called in they were so polite and handled it immediately. I have never had long waits in the waiting room, which almost never happens anywhere else. All-in-all a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend. My husband and I might be moving out of the area soon, and part of what makes me apprehensive is having to leave this pediatrician lol.
We started with Dr Ashby with our first child in 2015, since then we now have 4 kids and have moved a lot between 4 different states. because of this, we have experience with several different pediatricians from lots of different communities. UVP has always been our favorite and we’re so glad to be back to a pediatric office we love. Great staff, wonderful nurses, and we just love Dr. Ashby.
We love Dr Anderson and the entire staff they are always so friendly and fun. Even when he’s running behind the nurses are great to keep checking in and keeping us updated.
Dr McCoy is amazing with all three of my children. This is even more important to me as I have an autistic nonverbal child! They are very accommodating to everyone’s needs and truly listen to my concerns! I highly recommend!
I have really enjoyed mine and my son’s experience with Utah Valley Pediatrics. We have been seeing Dr. Anderson since my almost three year old son was born, and I’ve felt like he truly listens and provides great care and advice. Sometimes the wait time can take a while, but other than that, I’ve been extremely pleased.
Every time we go for our kids yearly appointment it has always been a great experience with Dr.Anderson and with Dr.MCCoy. They both take time to talk with our kids about safety rules and always listen to questions or comments my kids and I make. I am very grateful for their patience and kindness. Two of the best doctors we have met and we definitely recommend them to our friends and everyone else with kids.
