#1 vet in utah...NO DOUBT! These guys are the most helpful and kind. I have had a total of three appointments with them so far, and my bunny's eyes have been getting so much better!! The results speak for themselves. See pictures. Every single employee that I have met here has been SO helpful and SO kind. They will be upfront and honest about the costs of care and your pet's condition, etc. Soooooooooo so happy with the care my bunny has received so far.

Took our 1 year old German shepherd pup for his normal checkup and vaccines and they found and removed a tick on his neck that he probably picked up on a recent camping trip. The staff was exceptional—very personal and professional and our dog was unusually chill with them! He’s normally a total spaz with strangers. LOVE this clinic and the staff! Thank you!! The staff is great and very nice , how ever the doctor that we saw was very cold to us he did not explain to us at all about our dog cancer just gave us another doctor to call and to get information , my husband and I were a little bit shocked on the care that we received that day , other vets are super friendly to the animals and there owners. This vet was not at all . When we left we felt like we know that our dog has cancer in leg and paid there 400 dollars to them but we had no answers or feelings that they would take good care of us and our big English mastiff . We searched out for another vet hospital and they were beyond amazing to our gently giant until the day we had to put him to sleep . I felt like this place was all about money and not the care of the animal .

We had the BEST visit with Kinsey today! She was so sweet and knowledgeable about our situation. Our little leopard gecko had a broken finger and we didn't know what to expect because we've never taken a gecko to the vet before haha! They made us feel so comfortable and they gave us so much time to explain the issue and even helped us learn how to make a better tank for our little guy! Seriously Kinsey was amazing, I would highly recommend talking to her about your reptiles! Dr Rivera was SO nice and helpful and sweet with our little gecko! We felt very satisfied when we left. Thank you all so much!

I didn't have to wait several weeks to bring in my sick cat. They were so gentle with her and quickly diagnosed she had cancer. They helped me keep her as comfortable as possible until it was time for her to go. And when it was time, they were so gentle and loving to make her last hour a loving one. I would highly recommend Utah Veterinary Hospital to any other pet owners.

Absolutely amazing staff! Everyone here is so kind and knowledgeable. They will explain each step of the process. I brought my cat in for an urgent dental Josie was the sweetest! She told me everything that was going on, and was an absolute angel to my cat. I am so happy with everything they did :

Very disappointed. I would not recommend this vet at all. We are new breeders and have visited this vet several times because they have availability. The first visit the vet spent a few minutes examining our puppies before clearing them for their shots. Before they got their rabies shots a few weeks later, we were charged another full examination fee from the vet with out us actually seeing him. When I asked about it they told me that the vet had checked them in the back. We didn't even see him. I thought that was weird, but today was the last straw. In order to schedule you must pay in advance for the service. I scheduled our new puppy for her first set of vaccinations and paid. Today was our appointment and last night my son was up all night throwing up. I took him in to the doc this morning because he is not doing well. I called this vet to see if I could move our appointment to tomorrow. They told me I just had to cancel and reschedule without getting my money back. I was absolutely shocked, I couldn't believe they wouldn't make an exception for an emergency. So I ended up rushing through the doc appointment to get to the vet with my sick son so I wouldn't lose the money. I even brought a note from the doctor about my son, and still the manager wouldn't budge. There should always be an exception for emergencies. I will not be going back. I would recommend scheduling further out with another vet to avoid this clinic. The staff and techs are very nice, but overall not worth going here to get in sooner. There is a reason they have availability.

It's OK. I've been here 5 or so times for my two golden retrievers. One time they forgot about us for over an hour in the exam room. I justified it because it gave me an extra hour with my bubs on his last day so I've been going back with my new golden. It's not cheap so watch the bill when they present it and tell them no to anything you don't want done cause they'll try to do as much as possible. The vet is honest I feel like you just have to be your pets advocate and your own financial advocate.

Brought my new puppy there. Super friendly staff. Felt they legit loved my dog. Up front on costs and services. Good place!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Rivera and the vet staff when I took my guinea pigs in today for health evaluations. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Dr. Rivera was thorough in my guinea pigs’ evaluation and happily answered all the questions I had. He caught health issues my guinea pigs are having that previous vets missed. I would definitely recommend Dr. Rivera and Utah Veterinary Hospital to any rodent parent who is looking for a good vet! At checkout I also noticed a candle on the front desk that had the Rainbow Bridge poem next to it with a sign saying that if the candle is lit, that means someone is saying goodbye to their pet. I thought that is such a thoughtful and beautiful touch to add to the vet office. I’ve been to many vet offices throughout my life, but I’ve never seen anything that is done like that to honor the passing of a pet. What a wonderful way to show love and respect to grieving pet owners and the pets that are passing on.
